So heres Denver!
So we made it to Denver...2 weeks ago. I am behind sorry. Anyways, we are liking Denver its nice here. My description of it is "its like home but sunnier oh and I have no friends or family". It is pretty cool here though. People are down to earth..not like California, some people there were just weird. Our apt is pretty nice. We wanted more storage space but you cant complain, its free. Heres some pictures of our apt:

the bathroom and bedroom...dont mind the mess...we just moved in when i took these pictures. OH and the most exciting part of our apartment...we are within walking distance of SONIC!!
amazing. They have 1/2 off drinks(including slushies and everything) from 2pm-4pm every single day! Let me tell you...we have been there about half of the days we have been here haha.
My job is nice here too. I am working at the University of Colorado Hospital. The people are very welcoming. I am the only traveler so that kinda sucks, I wish there was someone else too. The people at work have told me some fun things to do, alot involving hiking in the mountains. I think we are going to do that. Adam and I have been getting lightheaded every day like when you stand up too fast...but it happens alot. I am convinced its the altitude because I am hydrated and everything. Who knows. At my new job we all have to wear the same uniform I think thats weird. Heres me on the first day of work
I am working all nights which works great, i like it alot. I only work 3 days a week so sometimes I get bored but then I tell myself to shut up haha.
So far we havent done alot of stuff because I havent gotten paid yet and Adam is still lookin for a job. He applied at about 50 places but most are online applications and who knows whos gonna actually look at it. Starbucks has done 2 interviews already with him...on monday so we are still waiting to hear from them. Adam said if they dont call tomorrow he will call them. I really hope he gets it then he can be transferred and stuff...it would be awesome. He did kinda get a job today. There is this awesome ice rink about 8 miles away, 3 rinks, its huge! But the only problem is that he is only hired for fill in...so far he will have a whole 8 hours this week. Sucks. Its will get better though, we have only been here 2 weeks....11 to go.
Eventhough we dont have much money to be spending right now we are still having a good time. We went to the hockey playoff game colorado avalache vs detroit red wings.
I loved watching adam at the game...it was like heaven to him haha. It was a good time. We wore our hockey helmet hats, people said they liked them lol we looked akward.

We also took a trip downtown this week to see what it was all about. It was pretty aweosme. We were on 16th street most of the time. There are tons of stores and bars. It looks like a cool place to hangout. We went to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. It was very good! We were greeted by a kid that looked just like one of our friends it was creepy. Heres pictures from downtown:
Everyone keeps askin about the wedding plans and how they are coming along. Well so far so good. We just sent our invitations today..wow what a hassle...thats alot of work that goes into those things. I hope everyone enjoys them :) I paid off our honeymoon and DJ and paid half of the flowers. Adam and I keep having dreams that the wedding gets all messed up. One of my dreams everyone just forgot and told me to just get married on 8-8-09 like it was no big deal lol. I think if we were home I would be more nervous and anxious for it but since we are about 2000 miles away from home we just have our minds tied up here with everything. I cant believe when we come home there will only be 3 weeks left!!
I am going to end this soon. I want everyone to pray for my grandma(Meme) she is having surgery tomorrow(her first and only surgery ever). They found a mass inside her and they dont know what it is. They are going to do a total hysterectomy. These are the times I really regret leaving home. I wish I was home with her. Just to stay a night in the hospital or something.
