Oh Denver...
Hello!! Wow this thing told me I havent updated in 3 weeks. Sorry, its hard to just get time to sit down and write. Although, I do enjoy it when I do it. Since the last entry...we are still enjoying Denver. The weather is very nice right now...except last night there was a tornado warning south of us so that was scary. I dont know what I would do..we live on the 3rd floor, Adam thinks that our apt is strong enough that it wouldnt get destroyed, I dont believe him. Otherwise it is very sunny all the time. I am actually tan...can you believe that!! Me? Its weird, I think I am able to tan this year because I never had a winter. That helps.
Work is going well for adam and I. He is workin at Starbucks...I am really liking that discount he gets :) Right now he is at some class about 20 min away...something about how to treat customers. He only got to work at the Ice Rink 2 times so far, well they were closed for Memorial Day weekend but its slow there right now. Adam said he is liking starbucks more now, he didnt really like it in the beginning. I am happy that he found a job. Its crazy how many stores there are around us and no one was hiring. The hospital is going well too, I did my first admission the other day that was fun. I always liked doing admissions at Rainbow. The NICU is still slow here too. I have been floated 5 times since I have been here...thats ok at least they havent called me off. I like the people on the other floor too. Everyone is really nice.
I have been cooking alot since we have been here. Adam has been brave enough to try all the new recipes, but no complaining because it is all really good!! I want to cook something tonight before work but I also have to sleep so we will see. I made an appointment for the eye doctor and the gyno this week. Back home it takes them forever to get me in, here...I called yesterday and I am scheduled on friday and monday! Adam is mad because I have my eye appointment at 8:40am and he has to take me haha. Sorry adam :)
I just went to go get the camera to upload some new pictures for all of you to see, but I forgot adam took it to work. He is taking a picture of the starbucks that you can see out of the starbucks window that he works at. Its ridiculous. Apparently Denver is the city with the most starbucks. They said every 3 minutes there is one. I believe it. Lets see what are some fun things we have done. I think the most fun was our tandum bike ride through downtown for 30 miles heres some pictures:

We also went to this flea market. Its called "The Mile High Flea Market" We felt out of place because 1. we spoke english 2. we didnt have children. Otherwise it was a good time. Adam got some hockey sticks for his dad...so we have to fit those in the car on the way home :) His dad seemed very excited though! Heres us at the fleamarket:

So what else...oh wedding plans! Yeah so I get an email from theknot.com every couple months reminding me that I am getting married haha. I got an email the other day 2 months until your wedding! Woah! Its coming up fast! Adam and I picked out our wedding rings the other day, I have to pick mine up tomorrow because it was getting sized. Ill take a picture and post it up here. I like them alot. We picked out the wedding favors, I just have to order them and I picked out the cake topper. Here it is:
Isnt it cute? I think it fits us. The cake lady said she can do it no problem so thats awesome. The guys all got their tuxes this past weekend...nothing like waiting til the last minute...they needed to get them by June 1...they all went May 31 haha, whatever its done. I am glad they did it. Adams trying to find gifts for them. All the groomsmen gifts are gay looking. I got the girls some good gifts, I think anyway. Adam's mom said we keep getting replies sent to the house...hopefully that everyone is coming!! I cant wait! I am so excited.
Everyone keeps asking where are we going after this assignment. I am not sure yet. I am pretty open to anything because life is going to be crazy with the wedding. So we will see!! I will keep ya posted! Adam wants to go somewhere cold. I will give in this time I guess since we havent had a winter haha.
