A/N - LOL. Supernatural and Zoolander? I just couldn't resist. Written for a prompt over on

“Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking, Sam?”

Sam groaned, leaning his head against the Impala’s window, not needing to turn his head to see his brother attempting ‘Blue Steel’.

He’d known it was a mistake, but when he’d seen Zoolander, he couldn’t resist turning it on. It had been a favourite of his and Jess’s and he’d forgotten how it made him laugh.

That had been over a week ago.

Dean had, at first, bitched and moaned about watching it. Until he’d realized it was a comedy and so had sat down, laughing and quoting lines back to Sam.

At first Sam had felt happy, it had been so long since he’d heard Dean laugh like that.

But now …

Now, he was starting to hate the movie.

“Dean,” Sam started quietly, trying not to let himself get too angry. “Enough.”

“Ah, Sammy, I know what you need,” Dean said, and Sam crossed his fingers, hoping his brother would say a burger, or fries, or to get laid.

“Orange Mocha Frappuccino!”

He couldn’t help but laugh a little at that, Dean saying it exactly like they had in the movie, before remembering that his brother was driving him crazy with quoting the movie.

“Dean,” he said, staring at the other man. “Can you please stop?”

“How bout I answer your question with another question?” Dean asked, and Sam started to hit his head against the window. “Why you been acting so messed up towards me?”

Sam groaned as Dean laughed, before feeling Dean hit him across the head.

“Stop hurting my car,” he said, and Sam let his head fall back against the head rest in relief, when he realized that what Dean had said wasn’t a quote from the movie.

Not saying anything, Sam stared out at the road, closing his eyes and starting to fall asleep, hoping that Dean was over it now.

“You know, Sammy,” Dean started, sending him a grin. “You think that you're too cool for school, but I have a newsflash for you Walter Cronkite... you aren't.”

Groaning again, Sam wondered if he could hit his brother in the head without causing an accident, before deciding that he’d just get Dean back once they got to Bobby’s.
