*Sigh* My daughter lied to me today. Not the first time...and I know it won't be the last, but I've run out of ways to explain to her that lying isn't good. We've taken away chips from her 'reward' system that she has. My kitchen is nearly done. The blue that they assure me I chose is awful. Funny thing is that yesterday they hadn't ordered the paint so I spent about a half an hour walking around the kitchen with the paint chips and I chose what I thought was a less striking (note - bright!) blue. So we have these out of town friends visiting with us and today we took them to the Riverwalk. (Huge thing here in San Antonio...ranks right up there with the Alamo for touristy stuff.) Anyway, while we were there I had one of those parenting moments. Like the kind of ones that I'll be spending the rest of my life second guessing myself.
