(no subject)
I was supposed to meet Katy for lunch today, so of couse it was horrible & grey & foggy this morning. When Katy rang to say she'd been called in to work & could we reschedule for tomorrow?, the sun came out.
I have nowhere to be until Isobel's doctor's appointment at 2:15, so I decided we'd go ahead & get ready & pop into town for a walk & possibly a coffee. We got out of the shower & it was horrible & grey & foggy outside. I sighed & put Isobel down for her nap. And the sun came out.
So she's still snoozing & it's blue skies & gentle breezes & fluffy white clouds out there. I'm ready to spring into action at the first whimper because there's still time for a coffee before her appointment, but what do you want to bet...?
