I'm being transferred in a couple of weeks.

In other words, i have way more homework than any graduating senior ever should.

Hence my presence in the library at this outrageous hour, when I would normally be at home having dinner and being ridiculous. Or at least reading leisurely, or watching TV.

Argh! At work today, I somehow trapped my lower leg under the door of the fridge, and then really smashed my calf into the fridge door. I have a huge bruise, it hurts super bad, and I feel like both my gastrocnemius and my soleus are angry with me.

Worst day of work ever. That's all I have to say.

I think I'm going to ask for an additional day off from work...the amount of schoolwork I'm needing to do, on top of DMC and work 5 days a week is killing me. So far, I've been able to bullshit my way through my classes, but we're hitting the 4th week of the quarter, and I'm going to need to get myself going. Shazam! Work was insane today, I couldn't wait to look the door and get out of there. We're having construction done, and the worker dudes were like "Hey! Let's throw stuff around and make a huge mess!" And the morning/midshift people were slammed, and so the store stayed filthy and disorganized until about 20 minutes after we'd locked the doors ( Read more... )

....So apparently, in honor of summer, we're going to start wearing yellow shirts at work. Not everyday, but probably Friday through Sunday.

Yellow is probably one of the only colors I can't wear. Other than orange.
