Notes: I really really hope you like this story. I've never written anything so long before. Nor in such a short time :P I am quite satisfied with it although it feels as if I could have written even more. I've edited it a bit so it looks better now.
This is one of my texts for the Kame Rarepair Big Bang Challenge at
capslock-turtle. I had to write over 15 000 words and I can only say that I am proud and thank you. Read the other wonderful fanfics, they are awesome.

When Kamenashi Kazuya arrived at the hotel he was weary from a long journey. He had finally arrived at Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris after several delays with the flights. When he had tried to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel other mishaps had occurred so now he was very irritated. He was a very important scientist; he didn’t have any time for such ridiculous drivel and delays in his schedule. Since he arrived to the hotel two hours later than was planned he wouldn’t be able to refresh himself after his travels as he usually did but he would have to go directly to the conference.
Kame sighed heavily at the dark thoughts occupying his mind. He went to the desk to talk to an employee. He said that he had booked a room and stated his name. He got the key for his room and quickly went upstairs to his room. He didn’t even have time to look around in the room; he simply tore upon his suitcase, took the first piece of clothing he saw and quickly changed clothes. He was so stressed he rushed out the door half a minute after entering it. Only bringing his necessities with him to the conference he sprinted down the stairs and out the hotel. Unfortunately he bumped into someone on his way out. He said “excusez-moi” hastily to the man he ran into before rushing onwards without a second glance on the man.

Nakamaru Yuichi was bumped into as soon as he entered the hotel. He looked a bit annoyed at the man who had said something unintelligible to him. Maru snorted, he hoped that the man had said something in apology and not insulted him. He continued walking to the desk so that he could check in.
He had just travelled to Paris for a long holiday from Japan. He had just broken up with his long-term girlfriend and felt like he needed a break. Thanks to one of his sisters, who was a very successful woman working with ikebana , he had acquired a ticket to Paris and he got to stay at one of the finest hotels in the city, La Maison Favart.
When he had stated his name to the woman working behind the desk she frowned up at him.
“Excuse me, sir, but there seems to have been a double-booking. Five minutes ago there was a man here who checked into room 2016, which is your room as well.”
“Eh?” Maru looked at her in confusion. He hesitantly repeated; “double-booking?”
“Yes, I am afraid so sir. It is a very unfortunate event. Normally we would give one of you another room but as we are fully booked at the moment that is impossible. Ah, I see here that you and the other guest are both from Japan. Perhaps you could arrange something between the two of you?” The lady continued. She looked very troubled at Nakamaru.
“Hmm, I see…” Maru voiced out. He was thinking very quickly now, what should he do? He wouldn’t be able to pay for another hotel as he had used his last money on this, with some support from his rich sister, and he really didn’t feel like going back to Japan. He had after all come to Paris looking for a new love in order to forget about the girl who dumped him back home. Perhaps the other person was reasonable and could be persuaded to let Maru stay in the room. It was worth a try he decided.
“Could I get the key, please?” He politely asked.
The woman looked relieved at him and handed over a key where it said 2016 in ornate numbers.
When he came up to the room he was taken aback seeing there was only one bed. On the other hand he was a little relieved noticing that the bed was huge, it could easily have fit four people in it. If they would have to stay one room together it might be okay. Maru wouldn’t have wanted to share a small bed with an unknown person but as it was they wouldn’t touch each other even if they slept in the same bed. He shook his head, what had he thought just now? That it would be okay to share a bed with a total stranger?
He quickly moved on to look at the rest of the room, he noticed it was indeed one of the finest hotels in Paris, everything looked really expensive. He also saw that there was an expensive-looking suitcase on the floor that had been left half-open. He felt an urge to go and look in it, to see what kind of person the other guest seemed to be but he resisted. Instead he decided to wait for the stranger who might very well share a hotel room with him for some time. He shuddered at the thought of sharing a room with a stranger but as there was nothing else he could do at the time he would have to try to become used to it.
He sat down on the bed, bounced a little, and made himself ready to wait for a while. Maru didn’t have any idea when the other hotel room guest might reappear, it could be a few minutes or hours until he saw the other person.
After sitting and bouncing on the bed for a while he made it comfortable for himself as it seemed he was in for a long wait. He lay down on the bed, on top of the blanket and still fully dressed, and closed his eyes. Maru had decided to take a short nap. He glanced at his wristwatch which showed the time was 16:27. He had been in there waiting for half an hour now. Taking a nap for the next half-hour wouldn’t hurt anyone. Maru closed his eyes and slowly but surely fell asleep.

Kame sighed tiredly yet again. It was now 23:14 and it had been almost seven hours since he had been at the hotel to change clothes. Even though he hadn’t had time to shower or freshen up any other way the first day at the conference had been a success. Kame’s mood had lightened bit by bit so that by the end of the day the dark clouds above him had dissipated. Now he was tired instead of irritated though so only wanted to hurry to go to sleep. He didn’t think he had enough energy to finally shower either even though he really wanted to.
He stumbled up the stairs to the right floor and then inside the hotel room after struggling with the key for a second or two. It was dark inside the room and instead of wasting time on finding the light switch he decided to venture inside. He walked along the wall in order not to lose his was completely as he stepped carefully on the floor, careful not to stub his toes on anything.
When he bumped into the bed with his knee he heaved a sigh of relief and quickly sunk down on it. Kame was far too tired to bother with something as trivial as clothes before going to sleep. He simply lay down, closed his eyes and fell into deep slumber instantaneously. Not before setting his alarm on his phone for tomorrow morning though.

Maru turned slightly in his sleep. There was a bleeping noise coming from somewhere close to him. Why didn't the bleeping noise stop? Maru wrinkled his nose in annoyance. He had been sleeping so peacefully.
All of a sudden the alarm stopped sounding. Glad to be able to continue sleeping Maru rolled over to his other side and bumped into something warm. It felt like a human body. He started to touch it to make sure that it was a person lying next to him in bed. There was a person lying next to him in bed!
With that realisation he sat up with a jolt to look at this other person. He immediately saw that the other person also was from Japan, in fact it was a very handsome man with Japanese origin lying next to him. Apparently the other man hadn't bothered to change into something more comfortable to sleep in during the night as he was wearing a black turtleneck and plaid trousers.
Maru blinked slowly to try and remember how he had ended up in this situation. Bit by bit it came back to him, how he had walked into a man rushing out of the hotel, then talked to the girl about the double-booking and so going up to this room. The last thing he remembered was that he was going to have a short nap before the other guest came back so that he could talk to that person.
Logically that other person would be the man now sitting up next to him blinking owlishly.
Nakamaru was certain that he had always only been attracted to people of the female sex. He was fairly certain he was straight, period, and had never even looked twice at a man. Now he had to admit to himself that he could hardly tear his gaze away from the slumped figure next to him. The other man looked like an otherworldly creature, he was that gorgeous. It was something almost ethereal about the man. Maru blinked. He couldn't fathom what had just gone through his head.
Why wasn't the other man saying anything? He just looked at Maru. Maru was starting to become nervous. Why wasn't the other man saying anything?
亀梨和也、2018年7月13日
Kame was startled when the alarm sounded in the morning. He felt as if he hadn't slept even nearly enough. He sat up tiredly and took a look around the room. He saw that it was quite large and luxurious. Then the alarm beeped again and he remembered to turn it off. He slowly turned a bit in order to look at the rest of the room.
Kame came to a sudden halt when he saw that there was a guy lying next to him in bed. His first thought upon seeing the other person was: what did I do yesterday evening? He couldn't remember looking for a man and then bringing him back to his hotel room for some fun.
He kept looking at the person as his brain continued whirring. What could possibly be the reason for the other man to be there? Kame couldn't think of any logical reason so finally he just sighed and was about to lie down again, relieved that at least he wasn't some obnoxious one-night-stand he would have to take care of later when the realisation hit him. There was an unknown man lying in his bed! Kame started to scream in horror.
The other man visibly started when Kame started shrieking. “You sound like a girl”, the other man announced and winced at the loud sound coming from so close to him.
“Who are you? What are you doing in my bed? What are you doing in this room? Are you some sort of pervert?” Kame asked in a shrill voice. Kame didn’t really think about which language he was talking, as he shouted some other accusations in Japanese.
“Don’t shout so loudly,” the person answered him in Japanese. “My name is Nakamaru Yuichi and I’ll explain what I’m doing here as soon as you have calmed down a bit.”
“Nakamaru Yuichi,” Kame repeated quietly to himself. “Wait,” he continued in a louder voice, “you’re speaking Japanese. How come you speak Japanese? We’re in Paris now. France.” Then he took a good look at the other man for the first time. He noticed that he looked surprisingly Japanese; he was wearing a sweater and a pair of jeans which looked like he had slept in them. He also looked cute in a weird way. Kame had never before found another man cute; even though he was bisexual he usually went for the hotter men. Not that there was much usual about it for him since it had been a very long time since he had been together with someone in such a way. In fact, it must have been a few years now, not that Kame kept track of such things as he had so much more important stuff to do.
“Yes, I am Japanese. May I know your name by the way? Or would that be too impolite to ask for?”
The man started to look slightly annoyed so Kame quickly answered. “Kamenashi Kazuya. So… what exactly…?” Kame let his voice trail off as he couldn’t think of a good way to ask what was going on.
“You see, it’s like this. The hotel happened to double-book us. So we’re both booked for this room, 2016, for 24 days. Apparently we’re both staying here for the same amount of time. As I understood it they have no other free rooms. Either we stay here together or… one of us leaves and tries to find another place to stay. Unfortunately I don’t have that much money so I wouldn’t be able to book another room somewhere else. Therefore I was going to ask you whether you would mind sharing or if you could perhaps look for somewhere else to stay.” Nakamaru explained slowly.
“That still doesn’t answer what you were doing in this bed when I woke up,” Kame rebutted. “The hotel staff didn’t tell me anything about a double-booking when I came here. I didn’t notice anything when I came up to the room either. There has been nothing to tell me of another presence in this room before now, when I woke up to find a strange person next to me in bed.”
“I had planned to tell you all this yesterday when I came here but by then you had already gone out again. I lay down on the bed, to take a nap while I waited for you to come back but then I must have fallen asleep while napping,” Nakamaru said. “It was not my intention to scare you like this.”
Kame heaved a deep sigh. This seemed to be a tricky situation. He tried to think of a solution to all this but didn’t manage to come up with anything. He concluded that his brain wasn’t functioning properly yet. He needed a shower in order to be able to think coherently. Not to mention that he had to go back to the conference soon. Kame glanced at his phone; he had to be going from the hotel in forty minutes. He didn’t have that much time to make himself ready, especially considering that he had to figure out what to do with this Nakamaru-person. He decided to take a shower first of all.
“I’ll just… I’ll just take a shower,” Kame explained to Nakamaru when he stood up and went to look through his bad for another set of clothes. He quickly scuttled in the bathroom before the other person could answer.
中丸雄一、2018年7月13日
Nakamaru looked confused at the door to the hotel room. After coming out of the bathroom, bringing with him a wonderful strawberry scent, Kamenashi had gone down to the reception desk to ask for more information regarding the double-booking. He had come up again to the hotel room, sighed, and explained that he wouldn’t have any time to look for another place to stay because he had rush to the conference. He had said that it would be okay to share a room for the time being. Kamenashi had exited the room after heaving a deep sigh.
Now Nakamaru had to figure out what to do with his first day in Paris. First of all he wanted to take a shower, wash away all the travel dust and sleep from his body. Perhaps he could go and eat something afterwards; he was very hungry and curious about what French cuisine had to offer. Thoughts spinning in his head, making plans, Maru went into the shower. He immediately noticed the delicious scent that Kamenashi had left after his shower. Maru inhaled the fragrance deeply. It was very pleasant.
Maru went out into the street determined to find an excellent patisserie where he could find some French baguettes. That must be the first thing coming into anybody’s mind when they thought of France - the baguettes.
Maru went looking haphazardly for a patisserie in the vicinity of La Maison Favart. Since the hotel was one of the finest in the city it was situated in the 2nd arrondissement, almost in the very middle of Paris. He found one not too far away which looked good.
When he walked around looking at pigeons and people walking around, all the while munching on his bread, Maru couldn’t help but to think back on Kamenashi. The other one was a mystery to him. One moment he had seemed like a cold and strict person and the next he was adorable. Maru hoped the two could become friends otherwise his stay in Paris would be as if he was in hell. He was there to find a new love and enjoy his life, not struggle to live together with a stranger. Well, he would just have to see how it all turns out.

It had been five days Kame had had to share his hotel room with Nakamaru. It was annoying to say the least. All day he was at the conference, talking about new research that had been made. It was of course very interesting to learn all the new things but nevertheless it was tiring. Waking up early, staying attentive the whole day, going back late to the hotel room only to find Nakamaru already there sleeping on the bed. Kame sighed.
They hadn’t talked with each other at all, except for that first time they woke up in bed together. Kame never would have thought he would be in this weird situation. Sharing a hotel room with an unknown man. Kame sighed again. Sharing a room with someone he knew was bad enough. Kame had always been a loner and after being forced his whole childhood to share a room with his brothers he had been very grateful to finally have some space for himself.
“Hello, you’re back.” Kame heard suddenly from behind. Kame swivelled around to face the bed and a groggy looking Nakamaru. “What are you doing out all day? You’re always gone so early and come back so late. Shouldn’t you relax since you’re here in Paris?”
“Why are you wondering?” Kame surly asked. “Wouldn’t it be better if you minded your own business?” Kame went around the room silently to look for his night clothes.
“I just thought since we’re sharing a room and all it would be kind of nice if we knew something about each other. We should know more about each other than our names.”
“Why? That is completely unnecessary. Mind your own business, Nakamura.”
The man started sputtering after hearing Kame call him Nakamura. “It’s only civil to get to know each other. It really seems as if you need me to introduce myself to you again. My name is Nakamaru Yuichi and I work as a train operator. Yoroshiku ne.”
“Hm, I see.” While the two had been talking Kame had taken off his suit and put on a pair on sweatpants. Taking a clean shirt over his head Kame’s voice came out muffled by the fabric. “I don’t really care; you’re free to do whatever you want as long as you don’t impose yourself on me too much.”
Nakamaru sighed. “The least you can do is greet me back.” Nakamaru’s annoyance soon became visible.
“Hai. My name is Kamenashi Kazuya. I am a doctor in brain science. Yoroshiku.” Kame was becoming slightly bored with the conversation so he decided to ignore Nakamaru from now on. He turned off the light and lay down on the bed, as far away from Nakamaru as possible without falling off the bed.
“Eh. You are a doctor? I am impressed. What are you doing here then?”
Nakamaru just wouldn’t shut up with his questions. “I am here for a conference on brain science. I am working every single day. I can’t relax; I don’t have any time to leisure activities. I have even less time for getting to know someone in your position. Good night,” Kame added the last words with a definite sound of finality.
Why couldn’t the annoying Nakamaru just shut up and let him be in peace? Everything would be so much more peaceful then. Kame sighed once more and slowly drifted into dream land where he was free from Nakamarus.
中丸雄一、2018年7月17日
Nakamaru sniffed, hurt by Kamenashi’s words. His appearance had definitely fooled Maru. Never would he have thought that Kamenashi was such an irritable person. He who had thought the other one was sort of cute even, especially his nipples. Before when Kamenashi had been changing Maru hadn’t been able to not notice the tiny nipples. He had never before seen such cute mini-nipples.
Apparently there would be no getting to know each other or something they could do together. Oh, perhaps that was just as well, Maru thought. After all, he might even start to like the other one a bit too much for it to be a good thing.
When Maru woke up in the morning he found himself alone in the hotel room like every other morning. He looked at the clock - it was only ten to eight. Maru was very close to turning over to the other side and go back to sleep. Since Kamenashi was gone he would have the whole bed for himself. He rolled around a bit, just because he could and closed his eyes.
He exhaled before inhaling deeply. Together with the inhalation came the soft fragrance of Kamenashi’s strawberry shampoo. Maru couldn’t help but inhale once again. It really was a sweet smell. Somehow he had ended up in Kamenashi’s part of the bed after rolling around.
When his actions caught up to him he quickly sat up. There was no way he had just thought that Kamenashi’s pillow smelt so nice. No way. He decided that he wasn’t tired anymore and would feel more at ease after going outside and moving around a bit.
The sun shone brightly in Maru’s eyes when he stepped outside the hotel. He had spent the first two days, not counting the very first since he had slept the whole afternoon after he had arrived at the hotel, going around and getting to know the city. He had visited some of the famous places and well-known tourist spots so today he felt ready to get to know a bit more of the genuine France. There wouldn’t be as many tourists around and that is what Maru wished for, although he would have some trouble communicating with the non-Japanese people. On the other hand, that was exactly what he was doing here in Paris - escaping Japanese people. Maru thought that the chances of finding a nice young girl would be higher if he interacted more with the Parisians.
With those thoughts in mind Maru cheerfully started walking. It would be nice to start with something to eat. Yesterday he had found a nice café, perfect for eating breakfast. He made his way over there but once he got closer he saw that the café was filled to the brim with people who also wanted to eat something nice for breakfast. Maru sighed and decided to try and look for another place to eat. He would miss the heavenly croissants they made though.
He was just about to turn around and walk in another direction when he spotted a familiar face in the crowd clamouring for fresh juice, hot coffee and croissants. Kamenashi was sitting at a table, in a very sombre-looking suit with two other suit clad men. Maru made his way in between all the other people and went up to Kamenashi’s table. He tapped him lightly on the shoulder and said: “Hello, I didn’t know I would see you here.”
Kamenashi, surprised that someone talked to him in Japanese all of a sudden, turned around to look at the person. His complexion darkened considerably when he saw who had talked to him. “What are you doing here?”
“I was thinking of eating breakfast at this café. It was really crowded though and when I saw you here I thought that perhaps I could share your table?” Maru explained. He looked calm on the outside but inwardly he was panicking. What was he doing? It wasn’t like him to intrude upon other people. Hadn’t he decided to talk as little to Kamenashi as possible after yesterday night? Or was that only Kamenashi? Maru’s mind was in a mess, he didn’t know what was happening any longer.
“Uh. I don’t think that’s…” Kamenashi started to say but was interrupted by one of the other two men sitting at the table. “Who is that? Your friend? Or is he also a part of the conference and we haven’t met each other yet?”
Kamenashi closed his mouth in annoyance. He would prefer not to have anything to do with the man sharing his hotel room. He would be perfectly fine denying that he even knew the man but realised that would make him look bad in his colleagues’ eyes so he answered hesitantly that “yes, he knew the man but…” but was once again interrupted before he got to say anything else, this time by Nakamaru.
“I am his brother. My name is Kamenashi Yuichi, pleased to meet you.” Maru’s English wasn’t top notch but at least it was better than his French. He shook hands with the two men when they introduced themselves in turn.
“We haven’t ordered anything yet so feel free to join us,” the man in the grey suit said to Maru. “What do you want to eat? What are you doing here when your brother works all the time? We only met Kamenashi two days ago yet it is very clear he is a so-called ‘workaholic’.” Both men chuckled a bit at that.
Kamenashi started blushing and tried to deny it but no-one bought his attempts to convince the others he wasn’t that work oriented in his life.
“I know. He loves his job, doesn’t he?” Maru said to the two men. “I’ll eat the same thing as Kame. Actually, I decided to follow Kame here since I couldn’t stay in Japan any longer. You see, my girlfriend broke up with me and to mend my heart and possibly find a new love I came here.”
“Tch. Silly reason,” Kame said to himself in a rather loud voice. He wasn’t afraid to be heard, yet he had said it in Japanese to ensure that only he and Nakamaru could understand.
“Same thing as Kamenashi?” the man in the pinstriped suit was the one responding this time. “But he said that he had already eaten before he met us so he said he didn’t want anything.”
“Kame, you’re doing it again? You know that you have to eat regularly.” Maru continued quite seriously. “Then we’ll both eat the croissants they have here, some coffee and that fresh orange juice.” When he saw Kamenashi glaring crossly at him he decided to add something to their order. “And a baguette, with loads of cheese. You need to put on some weight.” That last was directed to Kamenashi who was now scowling even more.
“How dare you?” Kamenashi hissed to Nakamaru. “You’re also calling me Kame. Kame! And you’re my brother? How dare you? And you ordered food for me. You are clearly an impossible insistent gnat.”
Nakamaru pretended he didn’t hear what Kamenashi said yet he couldn’t help but wince. He didn’t know what had gotten into him. Where had all those lies come from? How could he act so familiarly with Kame? Kamenashi. He couldn’t slip like that again. Even though he pretended to be close to Kame… Nashi in front of the two men, he could not allow himself to think of the other man in such a familiar manner. He couldn’t.
The men looked at each other during Nakamaru’s and Kamenashi’s exchange. Both of them shrugged before turning back to face the Japanese men. “Your girlfriend broke up with you, you say. May I say that it was good that you came here? After all French girls are very beautiful; I hope you find someone nice.”
They were interrupted in their conversation by the waitress who came to take their order. The man who had just said that French girls are beautiful started talking to the girl in French - which is probably why he had asked Nakamaru for his order, since he was fluent in the language.
They continued amiably chatting, sharing memories and experiences, over their food. In a short while Kamenashi abruptly stood up. “Isn’t it about time that we go to the conference now?”
Although they were reluctant to leave the men finished off their breakfast, left money to pay for the breakfast on the table and stood up awkwardly.
“I shall leave now I think. Lots of other things to do, nice girls to meet,” Maru said and took his leave from the trio. It had been a bit embarrassing to pretend to be Kamenashi’s brother. The situation with the two men had been a bit awkward as well period. It was nice to have someone to talk to though for a change. Since Maru arrived in Paris he hadn’t had a proper talk with anyone and it felt nice to unburden his heart a bit. The two men had seemed very sympathetic when they found out the reason for his visit to France, Kamenashi less so. Actually Kamenashi had seemed as if he wanted to strangle him most of the time.
Despite the angry glares sent his way Maru couldn’t help his heart that started pounding. He conjured the image of Kame smiling with his colleagues before he had arrived and his heart started beating even faster. Maru was completely lost. His heart seemed to have already decided on a new love.
亀梨和也、2018年7月18日
After the weird morning when Nakamaru had come and joined him, Moreau and Williams for breakfast the day had been going weird. Kame had been very disturbed by Nakamaru's pretend closeness and he hadn't been able to stop thinking about it all day. He might have been able to put it out of his mind if Moreau and Williams hadn't brought it up every now and then. First when they had been to a lecture about memory and how that is stored in the brain Kame's colleagues couldn't help but mention Nakamaru and how he remembered his ex-girlfriend. The next lecture they went to was about new learning methods that would be very beneficial. Somehow Moreau and Williams had managed to turn that back to Nakamaru again and how they hoped he found a new girl soon.
"I feel sorry for your brother, Kamenashi." Kame couldn't even start counting how many times he had heard that sentence in one day. It was grating on his nerves that they had to bring up Nakamaru all the time and he was so close to just shout at them to shut up. Of course, Kame didn't actually do so since he had a policy of never revealing his emotions.
Therefore, when Kame came back to the hotel room he was pissed. He slammed the door open and stormed inside shouting.
"How did you dare do that this morning? How could you?" Kame shrieked. "You pretended to be my brother, you ordered food for me, you called me by a nickname no-one except my closest friends are allowed to call me and you couldn't help but whine about your 'ex-girlfriend'. Haven't I already told you to leave me alone?"
"I am terribly sorry," Nakamaru said in a gentle voice. "It was not my intention to do any of it. I just saw you, thought it was a good opportunity to grab some breakfast without queuing for an hour and then all those things I said. I don't know where they came from." Nakamaru had been sitting on the bed but now he stood up and bowed to Kame. "I humbly ask for your forgiveness."
Kame had been anticipating a fight. He was taken aback when Nakamaru was so apologetic. At first he couldn't fathom what he was saying because he had been so certain that Nakamaru would respond with anger as well. Kame could feel his anger and annoyance bleed out of him at Nakamaru's calm response.
"Apology accepted."
Nakamaru straightened up after hearing that. He hadn’t expected Kame to forgive him that easily. He knew that what he had done was horrible, even more so since Kame seemed to be a person that couldn’t tolerate such things. Nakamaru didn’t know why he had done that. Although he had a hunch creeping under his skin; probably his actions had something to do with the attraction he felt to Kame. Yet he couldn’t regret what he had done since he had enjoyed being their fake closeness.
Kame was unaware of what passed through Nakamaru’s head just then. He would have been able to figure it out if he had looked closely at Nakamaru - after all he was not particularly skilled at keeping his emotions hidden. However, Kame had turned away from him to change out of his clothes because he felt like taking a shower. “You should make it up to me by inviting me for dinner or take me somewhere you know,” he uttered just before entering the bathroom. He even surprised himself with those words.
Kame could feel a blush creep up his face. Not even showering with cooler water than normal helped, his face remained unusually red. He towelled off quickly and then put his face on the cold mirror in the hope that would make his blush disappear. Why had he said to Nakamaru? It had almost sounded as if he wanted Nakamaru to take him out on a date. That was not Kame’s intention at all. He groaned. What if Nakamaru started thinking some ridiculous things about him now? Kame had been angry for Maru acting so close to him this morning and now he was the one who initiated something similar to a date? It didn’t make sense. Kame groaned again in frustration.
He tried to work up some courage to walk outside. It would not become better because he dwelled in the bathroom any longer. Kame had to face Nakamaru sooner or later anyway so it was better to get it over with Kame concluded. He heaved a deep sigh and exited the bathroom.
Kame was met with the view of Nakamaru standing naked in front him, bending slightly. It looked as if Nakamaru had just taken off his underpants. His blush returned immediately when he saw the other man’s private parts. He almost felt a wish to touch Nakamaru - he didn’t look that bad. Not bad at all. Kame licked his lips. Kame was startled by his own thoughts. He knew that he was bisexual, so his attraction to another man came as no surprise. But to actually feel desire course through him, just like that? It had been awhile since Kame had gotten laid after all. Should he try to make their strangers-supposed-to-be-friends relationship into something with a more sexual nature?
When he got a stare back from Nakamaru he followed his eyes curiously. How come Nakamaru was staring at him, at his crotch no less? He wasn’t the one who was naked. Kame thought quickly, could it be that he had gotten hard? When he followed Nakamaru’s gaze and saw that he actually was just as naked as Nakamaru. In his shock upon seeing Nakamaru Kame must have dropped the towel he had draped around himself.
Kame was horrified. They were standing less than a meter away from each other, both being stark naked.

“Eh, uh… This was awkward,” Maru stammered out while quickly grabbing something to cover himself with. That thing turned out to be Kame’s towel that they both tried to grab at the same time. Maru who had regained his bearings a little earlier was one second faster than Kame and managed to take the towel. However, holding the towel up in front of his groin he saw Kame standing there awkwardly as there was nothing else in the vicinity that he could take to cover himself. Maru felt really bad so he slowly took the towel away from covering himself and held it out for Kame.
“You can… have this. It’s… fine.” Maru could barely get the words out. He was so embarrassed. He hadn’t been this embarrassed for years, surely.
When Kame took the towel from Maru’s grasp their fingers brushed against each other fleetingly. Maru could feel an electric jolt when he touched Kame’s hand. By the looks of it, Kame had felt it as well.
As Kame wrapped the towel around himself again Maru turned around, desperately looking for anything - anything - to cover himself with. His eyes finally fell on the bedspread. He ripped it off the bed and swept it around himself.
Maru felt as if he should apologize again, but what could he apologize for this time? It had been an accident and he would only look silly if he took the blame. If there was something Maru definitely didn’t want it was Kame to think of him as silly.
Maru cleared his throat. He had to say something just to clear the tension that had invaded the room. Kame got there before him though. “Sorry,” he whispered. Maru began furiously shaking his head. It was definitely not Kame that should say sorry.
“Oh, there is no need to something like that,” Maru started. He had to clear his throat again before he could continue. “It was no-one’s fault really. Accidents happen.” Kame looked relieved at Maru’s word yet he didn’t dare meet his eyes. Kame kept looking a little below Maru’s face.
Suddenly Maru felt this inexplicable need to look Kame in the eyes. To make him meet his eyes he decided to try and turn the topic to something else. “Would you come with me to La Cupole tomorrow night? It’s one of the best restaurants in Paris. It wold be the least I could do to make up for my behaviour this morning.” He smiled hesitantly.
“I would love to,” Kame said and then did something that none of them had expected. It was the most shocking thing happening between them this evening. That meant something as they had both been shocked multiple times the last hour.
Kame leaned in and kissed Maru on the lips very gently. He nibbled a bit on the soft lips. Maru exhaled slowly before nibbling back. They parted a bit and then leaned in again to peck each other on the lips. They alternatively nibbled a bit, leaned away and then pecked again. Their mild kissing continued for a few minutes. After some moments they had both closed their eyes and were whole-heartedly enjoying themselves.
Kame leaned away for a last time and then slowly opened his eyes. Maru did the same when he noticed those soft, luscious lips weren’t near his any longer. He blinked a few times in rapid succession. He didn’t know what to say or how to act after that. Maru’s mind had turned completely blank while kissing Kame and now he had trouble figuring out what he was supposed to do in a situation such as this.
Kame stepped away from him, tightly clutching the towel to himself. He walked around Maru into the room. When he passed by Maru he slapped him gently on the butt. He turned just a bit and said in a low voice; “you can take a shower now if you want to.” Kame continued walking after saying that and looked for something to put on his body.
Maru stood completely still for another moment. He kept blinking and his mind was whirling. What had just happened? As the reality hit him, he jumped a bit in the air and then walked into the bathroom. Maru had just been kissed by another man (Kame no less) and he had responded. Then Kame had seemed to know exactly what he was doing by calmly walking away from Maru and slapping his ass. Gently but that still counted as slapping his ass. Maru closed his eyes in horror. This had turned out to be a very surprising evening.
It wasn’t before Maru was finished showering that he realised that he had had no intention of even entering the bathroom before. He had simply taken off his clothes to change into nightwear. Maru had thought it would be a good time to do that while Kame was in the bathroom. However, Kame had been quicker than what Maru would have imagined and caught him with his pants down. It was only because Kame had said to him he could take a shower now that he had entered. If his mind hadn’t been completely and utterly blank after Kame’s kiss Maru was certain he wouldn’t even had come near the bathroom.
When Maru was finished preparing himself for the night he slowly opened the door and looked cautiously outside. It was pitch black in the hotel room, Maru could barely see his own hand in front of himself. He muttered quietly to himself before slowly putting one foot of another. Maru was close to yelling when he stepped on something hard that hurt but managed to stop himself at the last moment. Luckily it wasn’t that far to Maru’s side of the bed. When he reached the bed he gently lifted the blanket and then slid underneath quietly. He hoped he hadn’t woken Kame up.
Such a fear turned out to be ridiculous as Kame just a few seconds later whispered good night to him. Maru squirmed uncomfortably as Kame’s voice had been very close to his ear. Kame’s scent was overwhelming him as well. Maru turned on the other side. He hoped he would be able to sleep. It didn’t seem likely as the thought that he was lying in the same bed as the man who had kissed him not too long ago kept repeating itself in his mind.
Maru sighed softly. He was lying there waiting for sleep to capture him. He listened to Kame’s breathing in the dark. After some time he couldn’t help but crawl over the bed until he reached Kame’s body. He bent down his head to let his lips trail softly over Kame’s hair until he reached his forehead. Maru pressed a gentle kiss on Kame’s face and whispered sleep well just before he slumped into the bed, dead asleep.
亀梨和也、2018年7月19日
Kame woke up to the gentle rays of the sun caressing his face. There was also warmth coming from his left from a slumped form next to him. He blinked his eyes open while turning to look at what could cause the warmth from his left. He couldn’t fathom what he was seeing so close to himself. It was Nakamaru’s slumped form lying next to him. How could Nakamaru be sleeping next to him? They always slept on opposite sides of the bed, as far apart as possible. Oddly enough Kame couldn’t remember being uncomfortable sleeping during the night. Whenever he had been even remotely close to someone else while sleeping in the past he had been sleeping very badly. He hadn’t been able to relax at all; he had been lying awake in the night for hours trying to fall asleep but not succeeding. Kame hadn’t felt any of that last night though. He hadn’t even been aware of someone lying next to him. So close that Kame could even feel the heat radiating from Nakamaru’s body.
He gulped. This couldn’t be good. Not even Kame’s brothers or any of his past girlfriends or boyfriends, not that there were many of them, had been able to come this close to Kame. He was almost getting worried especially when he remembered the kiss they had shared yesterday. He wondered what could have made him act that way. Then he decided that it did not matter, he had enjoyed himself and hopefully Nakamaru had done so as well.
Kame snickered mischievously. When his thoughts had returned to that kiss he had gotten an idea of a fun way to wake the other man up. Kame could kiss Nakamaru awake. He was fairly certain Nakamaru would be taken by surprise. He would have been completely certain had it not been so that Nakamaru had slept so close beside him. Kame decided not to think about it and simply do it.
He leaned closer and put his lips softly on the Nakamaru’s mouth. When Nakamaru opened his mouth slightly Kame saw the perfect chance to push his tongue into the other’s mouth. It had been such a long time ago he had enjoyed making out with someone. Kame was going to make the most of this until Nakamaru put a stop to it.
Kame’s tongue sliding into Nakamaru’s mouth was welcomed by another tongue. As Nakamaru was slowly waking up the intensity of the kiss increased. Shortly after the kiss started Kame had slid his hands into Nakamaru’s hair. When Nakamaru was awake he slid his arms over Kame’s body. Nakamaru’s hand slowly reached Kame’s back and then went lower and lower until he reached Kame’s butt. Kame whimpered into the kiss when Nakamaru started kneading his butt.
All of a sudden Nakamaru broke off the kiss. He gasped slightly. “What is going on?”
“I thought I would wake you up like this,” Kame answered with a smile. “Don’t you like it?”
Nakamaru remembered once more how he had thought Kame was cute when they had just met. His actions just now made him think with renewed conviction that Kame was adorable. Kame could clearly see those thoughts in Nakamaru’s head. He was also able to see his surprise. Despite having woken up and broken the kiss, Nakamaru’s hands hadn’t left from his ass. Even though they were no longer kneading his butt they rested lightly on Kame.
As Nakamaru didn’t say anything in response to him Kame continued. “I guess you did. Otherwise you wouldn’t continue resting your hands on my butt, right?” Kame giggled with glee. “And you do remember that you’re supposed to take me out for dinner tonight?”
Nakamaru took away his hands as soon as Kame mentioned it. His face started to turn red in embarrassment. “Din-dinner?” he stammered.
“Yes, don’t you remember? You’re supposed to make up yesterday’s morning for me by treating me to something. You said that you would take me to La Cupole if I remember correctly.”
“That’s right. I must have forgotten about that after that kiss…” Nakamaru blurted out without thinking whether it would be a smart thing to reveal. When he realised what he had said his blush deepened something incredibly.
Just when Kame was about to answer a plangent alarm started ringing and cut him off. Kame sat up in hastiness. He had completely forgotten about his work. He would have to go to the conference today again. Kame sighed and then determinedly stood up. Without giving Nakamaru a chance to say anything more Kame grabbed all the things he would need, changed his clothes and rushed out the door.

Maru still lay on the bed in shock. He couldn’t wrap his head around how he had been woken up this morning. Nor could he understand what had happened yesterday if he was to be honest. He suddenly became aware of a problem he had in his pants. There was a bulge down there and it was growing for each second he thought about Kame. He palmed it slightly through his trousers.
The door was banged open again just when Maru had gotten a hand down his pants. Maru froze in that position; he couldn’t move or do anything else but stare at Kame’s form that appeared in the doorframe two minutes after he had rushed out.
“I forgot one thing. Since I probably won’t be back here to the hotel room before we have to leave for the restaurant I thought it would be for the best if I gave you my telephone number.” Kame took out a napkin and proceeded to scribble on it furiously. When he was finished he put the napkin down on a shelf close to the door. “See you this evening,” he said with a smirk. Kame winked at Maru and blew a kiss at him before disappearing out the door.
Maru was absolutely still. His mind hadn’t gotten that far yet in processing all the events last night and this morning. When he realised what the number was for he started blushing again. Yuichi, why do you blush so easily? He reprimanded himself in his mind. It’s only a date. Maru blushed even harder. He so wanted to shut his own mind up.
Maru rubbed his crotch. He was now fully erect thinking about Kame. He kept palming himself imagining Kame next to him, helping him with his problem. As he imagined that Kame touched him, gently stroking his penis Maru was brought to orgasm quicker than ever before. He was embarrassed that he had gotten off so quickly like that just by thinking about Kame yet he was relieved that Kame hadn’t seen him like this. Maru was also terrified thinking that this implied that he really liked Kame. The possibility that he fallen in love with Kame was frightening. As if those jumbled emotions weren’t enough he was also happy for everything that had happened.
He thought that he shouldn’t sit there anymore and think about it. He should go out and move about, think of other things for a while and perhaps he will gain more clarity regarding Kame. He wouldn’t go out before taking a shower though, he was all sticky now.
When Maru exited the hotel an hour later he went directly to the restaurant in order to book a table for the two of them that evening. Normally one would have to book at least a week in advance in order to get a table at La Cupole but Maru was lucky, there was a couple that had cancelled so there was one empty table. He thanked his lucky star profusely for the empty table and bowed to the restaurant works on his way out.
Just as he was walking out of the restaurant he bumped into a girl. She looked as if she was working as a waitress there and Maru couldn’t help but look appreciatively at her figure. She was very cute, a bit on the petite side and so pretty. He tried apologizing to her in French. He wasn’t that successful though as she almost started laughing at his attempt to speak French.
“It’s okay, I’m not hurt or anything,” the petit girl said in Japanese.
Maru was stunned. This lovely French girl knew how to speak Japanese? She did look a bit Asian now that he studied her face a bit more closely. Maru had automatically assumed she was French since she worked at a French restaurant in Paris.
“You-you can speak Japanese,” he said.
The girl giggled. “Yes, my grandmother is from Japan. Since I have relatives there I learnt how to speak it. I know I don’t look particularly Asian so few people expect me to know Japanese. My name is Hélène by the way.” She stretched out her hand to Maru, expecting him to shake it.
“Hélène is a nice name,” Maru said with dreamy eyes and shook her hand. “My name is Yuichi. Do you work here?”
“Yes, I do. Are you coming to eat here later?” She asked. After receiving a nod from him she continued. “I guess I’ll see you around then. It was nice meeting you.” With a last glance back at Maru she walked inside.
Maru followed her with his eyes for as long as possible. Then he realised that she had flirted with him. Perhaps she could become his new love in France. With a new vigour in his step he thought about Hélène. What a lucky coincidence he thought, it is not often you meet a pretty, cute girl from another country that can speak Japanese. All thoughts of Kame had fled out of his mind.
When Maru had gotten over the fact that a French girl had flirted with him he remembered that he had to contact Kame about the reservation at the restaurant. He hauled out his phone and typed a short message with the address of La Cupole and the time they were supposed to be there.

As the time crept closer and closer to the evening Kame became increasingly worried. Why hadn’t Nakamaru sent him a text yet? Or called about the time they should meet at the restaurant for that matter. He started doubting himself. What if he had written his number incorrectly on the napkin and the other one couldn’t contact him? As soon as he had that thought in his mind he couldn’t get rid of it and he found it very difficult to concentrate on the meeting he was in.
When the clock was nearing 9 PM Kame decided that he had waited long enough and started making his way back to the hotel room. Since Nakamaru hadn’t texted him he didn’t dare go to the restaurant by himself. He would make a fool of himself if Nakamaru wasn’t there.
La Maison Favart was fairly empty when he arrived. Their shared hotel room was equally empty when Kame entered. Nakamaru wasn’t in the vicinity. Kame sniffed a bit disappointed. He had thought that he could actually become close to Nakamaru. He wouldn’t have minded to be boyfriends.
Kame had thought about it for the whole day and he had come to the conclusion that it was high time for him to find someone to be with. He didn’t have any problem finding people that wanted to be with him but because of Kame’s reluctance to become close to others his relationships had rarely lasted more than a few weeks. Either it was the fact that Kame didn’t like being physically close to them or that he was far too occupied with work, in their opinion, for the relationship to be kept alive. As it was he hadn’t been together with anyone for three years.
Therefore Kame had been so surprised when he had been the one to start everything yesterday. To finally find himself with the desire after someone else wasn’t something he had experienced before. Because of that he thought it would be okay with Nakamaru. The other one seemed to like him and since Kame had had no problem sleeping with him that close he thought it could work out quite nicely.
The fact that Nakamaru was neither in the hotel room nor had he contacted Kame somehow made Kame’s heart sting. Perhaps he had been wrong about Nakamaru liking it. Perhaps the other man had been disgusted with him. Kame sniffled.
With his heart hurting Kame went to sleep. It had never felt like such a heavy burden to bear before.

Maru had been sitting in the restaurant waiting for Kame to show up for the last two hours. He was getting tired of this. Had the other one only played with him? Kame should show up soon. Or perhaps this was his revenge for Maru intruding upon him that morning with his colleagues. Kame was just playing a cruel game with Maru’s feelings.
Hélène was working there that evening. She kept looking over to Nakamaru’s table feeling sorry for him. How could such a nice man be kept waiting? Maybe he was even stood up by his date. Determinedly she made her way over to his table.
“Should I keep you company instead?”
The question directed to him made Maru lift his head from studying the table. He was pleasantly surprised to see Hélène standing next to him.
“Why not?” he answered, “it doesn’t seem like my date will come here any time soon. Sit down, if you please.”
She took the seat opposite him.
“Is it okay for you to be here? Aren’t you working?” Maru asked. He was concerned that she would get scolded for sitting down with a guest.
“No worries. Since the customer requested it there should be no problem,” she said laughing.
The two started talking with each other. Soon enough Maru had forgotten he was supposed to be there with someone else. They had a pleasant evening together talking about all sorts of things. It turned out they had a lot in common with each other. Maru talked about his ex-girlfriend, how she had dumped him and now he was there in France looking for a new love. She said she was in the exact same situation as her boyfriend had broken up with her not too long ago and she was now on the lookout for a new boyfriend.
When she asked about who he was supposed to meet there that evening his face turned sad. “The one I thought would be my new love that I found here in Paris but it doesn’t seem likely.” Maru was inconsolable and decided that was enough for one night. He couldn’t concentrate anymore on Hélène and their conversation. He couldn’t turn his thoughts away from Kame.
Maru went home desolated close to midnight. Hélène had wanted to exchange phone numbers but Maru had declined saying that he knew where she worked and could easily find her again. His real reason was that he didn’t want to start something with her. He had been immensely attracted to her at first but that attraction had soon worn off as he started thinking about Kame.
中丸雄一、2018年7月30日
It had been several days since the failed restaurant visit. They hadn’t talked with each other since that morning when they had shared such sweet kisses. Despite the time passing with the two of them only glaring at each other Maru was unable to stop thinking about Kame. He had jerked off a multitude of times imagining Kame.
One day he couldn’t stand it any longer and decided to go to Kame’s conference. Maru would demand some answers from Kame. Why hadn’t he ever come to their dinner date? And why hadn’t he explained himself? He hadn’t even said a single word to him for a long time. It was similar to torture for Maru. Being so close to someone he liked that much yet being unable to do anything with that person.
After a few problems on the way to the conference on brain science Maru arrived there. He had had some difficulties finding the way to the conference but that was nothing against the challenge he faced when he had arrived. How would he be able to find Kame among all these people? The building the brain conference was in was huge. He was almost dispirited and was close to decide to go and do something else. In the end he decided that since he was here now he should do the most he could of that.
Maru started aimlessly wandering around. He thought it was his lucky star again that made him spot two men he recognised. It was Kame’s two colleagues from that morning. Unfortunately Kame was nowhere to be seen but he could always ask the two about his whereabouts since they should know.
Maru approached them. Without any preamble he asked them; “Where is Kame?”
They turned around; they wondered who had suddenly talked to them. When seeing who it was they both started grinning. “Hello Kamenashi. Looking for your brother? I think he’s attending a lecture on the seventh floor about mental illnesses and how they affect us,” one of the men said.
Maru was a bit startled hearing them address him as Kamenashi but he recovered quickly. He had forgotten that he had pretended to be Kame’s brother in front of those two. “Would you mind showing me the way?” He asked politely.
“Not at all,” the other man answered this time. “Follow us.” They then started walking towards the elevators. “What is it you want to talk with him about? Is it very urgent since you’re coming here?”
“Not particularly urgent. It’s something important though.”
While they talked they had reached the elevator and now it was slowly ascending. They two men didn’t ask any more questions after that. They understood that it was a sensitive topic between brothers. The lift stopped on the seventh floor and the patiently led the way to a room on the right.
“He’s in there. We’ll leave you to find him yourself now since we have to continue to a meeting. We’ll see you around. Bye.”
Maru nervously swallowed. This was it. He was going to face Kame and clear out all things between them. He must get some answers from him. He gently opened the door to the room Kame was supposedly inside. He stuck his head in the opening and had a quick look around. There was someone standing at the front of the room, talking. The rest were sitting quietly listening to the man. Maru understood he couldn’t interrupt the lecture so he quickly scanned the faces until he was Kame near the back and quietly made his way over to him.
He gently tugged on Kame’s sleeve when he was close enough to do so. Kame was very surprised when he saw who it was that had tugged his sleeve. Yet he made no resistance to follow Maru when he gestured that they should leave the room.
As soon as they were outside though Kame didn’t keep quiet any longer. “What do you want?” he asked surly.
Maru swallowed. “Anoo… I wanted to talk to you.”
“I can understand that. I am not that dumb. What do you want to talk about?” Kame appeared to be really angry.
“Could we go somewhere more private?” Maru requested. “This is a bit too…” He let the sentence trail off as he didn’t know how to finish it.
“Okay.” Kame glared at him. “Let’s go to the meeting room over there. No-one is in there now so we won’t disturb anyone. I really hope this is worth missing that lecture.”
“Yes,” Maru agreed. He felt relief that Kame was willing to talk to him. He didn’t seem that kindly disposed but perhaps that was only a façade, a mask Kame wore to protect himself. At least Maru hoped that was the case.
亀梨和也、2018年7月30日
Kame had been immersed in the lecture when he felt the tug on his sleeve. He had been so surprised to see that it was Nakamaru. As they walked to the empty meeting room he thought about what could possibly be the reason for him coming to his conference. When Nakamaru hadn’t talked to him after the supposed restaurant visit Kame had remained stubbornly silent and angry. He hadn’t wanted to interact with someone that so easily played with him. Yet he couldn’t avoid thoughts about Nakamaru completely no matter how much he might have wished to be able to do so. As they were sharing a room Kame was constantly reminded about Nakamaru and his heart refused to get rid of the newfound feelings he had discovered he had for Nakamaru. Now that Nakamaru was here because he wanted to talk to him Kame’s hope was rising again. He tried not to show it though behind a stern exterior.
He stared at Nakamaru. Kame definitely wouldn’t start talking.
“Why-why didn’t you come to the restaurant?” Nakamaru asked gently.
“You didn’t tell me when or where to come so I obviously couldn’t. Was that all?”
“Eh! But I sent you a text…” Nakamaru took up his phone to look through his text history. He realised that what Kame had said was true. He had written the text but he had forgotten to send it. “Gomenasai. I thought I had sent it. I sat there waiting for you at the restaurant for nearly four hours…”
Kame could feel his heart skipping a beat at Nakamaru’s words. Was it true? What he was saying. Kame wanted to hear what more Nakamaru had to tell him so he kept quiet.
Nakamaru looked uncertain at Kame’s lack of response. He ploughed on though. “And… I wanted to ask you… What do you feel for me? I like you. Please go out with me.” Nakamaru bowed his head.
Kame was stunned. He would never have been able to predict a confession from Nakamaru just like that. “I… I think I like you too.”
Nakamaru smiled brightly and stood up. After he had gotten over himself for liking another man it had been easy to admit his feelings out loud. He was so happy for Kame’s answer. “I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you for all this time. I couldn’t help but notice your presence all the time. I fell in love with you.”
“Me too.” Kame flung himself into Nakamaru’s arms. “Did you know that I’ve only been in three relationships so far and that they only lasted about two weeks? That was because I was never comfortable with them. But with you I felt relaxed immediately. From the first day I was able to sleep next to you in the same bed, I haven’t been able to do that before. Nakamaru-”
Nakamaru felt touched hearing Kame’s confession. He wrapped his arms tighter around the smaller man. “Doesn’t it feel strange to still call me Nakamaru? Please call me Yuichi. If we are boyfriends I think we should call each other by our first names. Don’t you agree?”
“Okay, Yuichi,” Kame said with a shy smile. “Can I go back to the lecture now?”
Maru was shocked. “Don’t you want to spend time with me now that we are together? Don’t go back to the lecture…” Maru pouted.
Kame laughed a bit. “Yuichi~ it’s my work. I have to. Even though you came to get me in the middle of the lecture doesn’t mean I will skip the rest of it. I’ll meet you tonight, okay?”
Maru pouted again. “Okay. Give me one kiss before you leave though.” He quickly leaned in and captured Kame’s lips in a sweet kiss. The kiss turned passionate in a few seconds, with a lot of tongue. Maru sucked in Kame’s tongue in his mouth; he wouldn’t let Kame walk away from him that easily.
Kame’s knees turned weak when he felt the need Yuichi was kissing him with. He couldn’t hold himself up any longer so he let Yuichi support his weight and only concentrated on the kiss.

The day of departure had come. Maru took a last look around the hotel room he had shared with Kame. It had been a lovely vacation in Paris for him. He had walked all over the city, gotten new friends and he had found his new love in the most unlikely way. They had been forced to share a hotel room and discovered their love for each other gradually. Whoever had said that Paris wasn’t a romantic city? It was the paradise for love to grow and be nurtured.
“Yuichi! Come. We have to leave now. Otherwise we’ll miss the flight,” Kame shouted to Maru. He was standing just outside in the hotel corridor, waiting for Maru to say goodbye to the hotel room.
“Hai~” Maru answered. He couldn’t believe his luck. He had found true love.
