family retreat
Most of you have been on my friends list for years and you probably remember me writing about attending a Joni and friends family retreat in California. I had a wonderful time and have wanted to go again ever since, but I couldn't afford the cost of the retreat plus plane and transportation to the retreat once I landed. But last night I found out there is a family retreat in Oregon. Its at a place called Rockaway beach which is about 70 miles from Portland at least if I read the website correctly. I've got the money for the retreat and probably enough to cover transportation if I save a bit more. Actually getting to the retreat looks like it could be a challenge. The retreat is August 16 to 20. So it'll be shortly after Ellie leaves. The timing is great. It'll be wonderful to have something to look forward to. I have to send in fifty bucks to hold my spot. please prayy that if I'm supposed to to do this that everything will fall in to place. Gosh! I'd love to go!
