Slept in until noon today. It was lovely. I'm worried I won't be able to fall asleep tonight, of course, but oh well. I feel like I'm perpetually exhausted, so even if I'm exhausted tomorrow, it was nice to not be exhausted today. I also got a decent amount done-- finished some RA work & read stuff for Layna's class. I'd intended to get working on my master's thesis, but eh, I can do that... tomorrow? Tuesday? Dunno.
It's not super cold here yet (I still keep the window open until about 8pm or so), but it's cold enough that I've started warming my hands over the burners after I cook. :( I need to go buy some knitted fingerless gloves. It's my fingers that get super cold, so fingerless gloves sounds a little counterintuitive, I know, but I'm hoping if I keep my hands warm then my fingers will warm up, too. I can't type with gloves on (believe me, I've tried), so this is my best idea at this point.
And just for kicks, here's another song I love. It's very zydeco, which is an undeniably happy-sounding style.
