HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!!!!!

Got my house back under my full control. Doors locked from my side.

Woke up this am. House was at 50F. Coooooold. GS guy had turned off the propane fireplace which is a key element of my heating system. Left all the lights on downstairs. It took all damn day to get the situation sorted out. I do have an electric furnace and woodstove, but the system is more cost efficient and effective if all parts are working in ( Read more... )

While they are mostly gone, JS folks are now harassing and attemping extortion. Price dropped $500 today. Laughs! In what world would anyone with the IQ of broccoli pay this guy a penny?
Police and local officials are involved. Just have to wait and see. Our provincal legislation allows tenants to get away with all sorts of nonsense.

Jerrry Springer guy and girl are packing up!!! Now all I need is a few hundred bucks. Not likely, but I'm an optimist.

There's been some very stressful nonsense over the last 48 hours.

I now have my own Jerry Springer tenants! Dear brother as you know is doing renos on my house. To do so, he sometimes needs to go downstairs to pull wires etc. Tenant knew this. Dear brother always knocks. But if no one was home, he has entered. This was discussed with JSG when they moved in. Til today this was not an issue.

Dealing with idiot tenant. He's paid me the bulk of the rent. Now he's trying to back out of his committments to paying utilities. He sent his wife out at 9 am, she just came back a few minutes ago, almost 6 hours. Interviewed potential new tenants. Lovely couple who appear to be well suited. He is a contractor, but unlike current chappie, has a thriving business. She's a care worker in a group home.
