Busy head
Since the spring of 2012 I've been dealing with serious health issues. All of which are in one part of my anatomy - my head. It's been far too busy in there. Thanks to our excellent health care system a number of these are cured. Migraines are a part of my life, so not listed here. Mind you this has caused significant confusion in reaching diagnosis of the other causes of pain.
Cured - Repaired
Sphenoid sinus infection - 2 -ENT specialists - 3 CAT scans
Dental fractures - 4 - Reconstructive Dentists - 3 dental implants, root canal, mulitple crowns
Post-Concussion Syndrome - 2- Neurolgists - 2 MRI's
Outstanding
Trigeminal Neuraliga - Neurosurgeon - 1 MRI
I saw the Neurolgist on Tuesday. She was wonderful. My post-concussion symptoms have mostly resolved. Some were due to the medications prescribed for the facial pain, which is now tentatively diagnosted as Trigeminal Neuraliga. Don't need to see her again.
Awaiting appt in November to discuss possible crainial surgery with neurosurgeon.
