Moderatly Good News
Vet called this am. Told me that the antibiotics probably lowered the seizure threshold. Sophie may have some benign neurological problem which in normal circs wouldn't be treated. (This reminded me of a lady I see with Motor Neuron disease, she can't have certain antibiotics as they can cause a crisis.) He's decided to hold off all meds til the lab tests come back. For some reason it takes a week with dogs, with humans it's 48 hours.
He was very reassuring, the night was difficult as Sophie had periods of pacing all around the bedroom. I closed the door so she wouldn't get trapped/hurt herself. After awhile she laid down next to Brambling and slept. I had to wake her up this am as Bram wanted to go out.
I'm going to take the dogs to work with me today. Sophie needs to be watched and this is the only way.
