There will be lobster tonight
Neighbor's mum just called. They are coming from Prince Edward Island - a two to three day drive - to stay. They use my upper driveway to park their motor home on. Neighbor has room, but too many trees overhang for NM. They will be bringing me an offering of fresh lobster- dances - bottle of wine in fridge chilling.
Easiest thing to clean in my house - oven. Take bottom drawer out, open window, turn on fan, push button. Done. Love it.
Spent 40 minutes cleaning my bedroom. Accomplished, one over-full laundry basket. Bed stripped. Piles of paper ready to go to study. (I lay in bed and do work paperwork) To do still, make bed with clean sheets, clear off bedside table. (magnet for all sorts of things) ditto top of dresser
I'm in the process of cutting out a new SCA gown - kirtle. Bought a pattern last year- now I'm using that clear sticky film to transfer it to brown paper. Pattern is too expensive to cut, this way if I need to use it for sister or myself in future the various size lines will be available.
Sophie bit my thumb when I tried to give her a pill this am. Will be trying ice cream later. Call into vet to ask for injectable medications, getting fed up. I finally wised up late last night and shut off half the house to corgi piddles. Much saner.
ETA: just heard from vet, he's going to let me inject Sophie. huge sigh of relief
