Painful day in more ways than one

Spent all night awake, in pain with migraine from working too much. Had to cancel work today - so paycheck will be lighter. Also worrying re Sophie. Vet saw her this am, she has another bladder infection. My VISA card is still crying from the $250 bill for exam, lab test and meds. Very nice vet thank goodness, didn't start pressing me to have x-

Thanks, it's such a worry when a pet is ill. They can't tell you much and you are at the mercy of the vet.

Thanks, I have so much to do. New SCA gown will not be ready for this weekend. I really need to expand my medieval wardrobe beyond two gowns. Sophie appears more relaxed after first dose of antibiotics. Time will tell.

Hah! Too true. When a friend's elderly cat developed dementia, they made a habit of showing her the food, the water, the catbox, and her comfy bed on a regular basis. That kept her happy most of the time, and if she showed distress they did it again and she was fine until the next episode. Nothing else needed.

I hope you and Sophie are both in better trim soon!
