It's been a demanding week work wise. Patient's are very appreciative. Some more sad events. Took two days off to deal with cold - feel tired but stopped coughing, throat/ears feeling better too. Will be working Christmas, not a biggy as day is usually light, and dear brother likes to cook the turkey. It's a good move work-politics wise as I appear to be caring of colleagues. snerk
Spent 45 minutes getting insurance paramedical done this pm. It's very depressing when you think you are quite healthy: then you have to list far too many health problems. High BP, gout (kidney stones due to said gout) and hiatus hernia are history due to bariatric surgery, but there are other things- gyn stuff- knee injury- surgery, depression .... I'm not sure that I will get disability coverage for my mortgage, might be approved for life insurance. We will see.
Due to illness earlier in the week, I've cancelled going to SCA event. Need to get downstairs ready for people who will be renting downstairs while they wait for house to be ready.
Bought myself a lovely Vintage Coach leather handbag on Etsy. Been wanting one for ages. At the local building centre I bought a septic pump, more laminate flooring and a pile of trim. Check for almost $700 to Health Unit for Septic Installation Permit. Ordered clover seed for septic bed area planting - seems spreading seed on snow will result in better growth than waiting for spring. The wonders of nature.
