A bit of light- DNS issues may be the problem with LJ and my laptop. It crashed shortly after the big storm. Not a nasty windows type crash. Just a polite dark grey rectangle on the screen advising me that I must restart the computer. I'm afraid that there might have been a surge. When it restarted, the year was very wrong, so i have concerns. Back up will be done tonight. I have both phone and power going thru a fancy - read expensive surge protector, but how do I know the surge protector is still effective. How much can it tolerate? I drove to nearest big town today and saw some more of the destruction courtesy of the tornadoes. Huge trees- perhaps 70 feet high- 2 feet across- snapped off at 40 feet.
