As it should be.
Did I mention I love yard work? Even mowing. Even with all the blisters and bugs and poo and everything else you find lurking in the yard, I still love it. Tomorrow, hopefully, I get to start work on the garden for eatables. There's a plot in back that has scraggly ornamentals in it right now that I'm going to cull and mostly dig up. It'll be a lot of work, but worth it. Yay ^_^
Here's hoping starting mowing in the East will make a difference on my luck. I really need a new compass and a six hollow-rod wind chime.
I signed up for photobucket, but I'm not too keen on the fine print. They can distribute your stuff at will without any permission. You can cancel your account and they'll stop using your stuff when it's "practical," I believe that's the word they used. I need to look and see what the fine print is on Deviant. An advocate for artists' rights? You bet your buttons.
This coming up weekend I am going to go to my very first con, Acen. I even get to dress up! Since It's a bit spur of the moment, so it's going to be an improv kind of a costume aiming for punk/cosplay loli. Shh, don't tell my mom. If I can make something that looks decent, I might take some tear (say tehr) sheets with me to pass out to prospective employers. I don't have a lot of time, so I don't know if I can whip out something that fast that's still quality.
Know any nice oxen or snakes? I need to work up another spell. Preferably one without loopholes. I think the last one I cast took two years to work? I forget... no.... yes... Yeah I think it was two years, so I need to get on the ball. And find a good tree this time.... That's going to be a little hard. One of the trees in our yard was almost completely blown over. It's resting on a couple of it's neighbors. Before the storm it looked pretty healthy. Poor thing. I'm not sure what I need to change in the spell. Maybe make it a little more specific or more of a concrete intention when I go to cast it. Last time I had help making it. I wonder if that influenced it at all... and then which way? Probably has to do with intention. Oh well, well see what I can come up with.
Anything else to babble about? Not really. Maybe that I'm totally jealous of everyone in BN and Chiland because they only have to go across town to have a little fun. Super jealous that some of you got to play some hard core Rock Band last weekend. I know I'm not very good, but it's a lot of fun. As long as I'm not pissing off the other players because I'm not very good.
Figured out how to make my digital camera talk to the computer today. That was kind of cool. Strike a blow against the 3 ring hole punch and the automatic faucet!
