YESTERDAY WAS THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE MOON LANDING AND I FLAKED ON MENTIONING IT. O.O so. uh. yesterday was the 51st anniversary of the moon landing. :D if it's a clear night where you live, go outside and look up at the moon and think about people standing on it, whacking golf balls across it, and bouncing around it on a space cart. maybe even getting to visit it as civilians. because let me tell you, if that was an option available to me, to visit the moon as a civilian, i would go in a hot second. and every single person i came in contact with for the rest of my life would have to hear about it, probably more than once.
so i watched the old guard again and have ALL THE FEELS. omg booker. break my heart. i may or may not have even ficced. it's very short, like 360 words, but there it is. i can count on one hand the number of fandoms i've written fpf for (and two hands for the number of fics, if you don't count spn), and i've never done it four days after my first viewing of canon. what is wrong with me. i blame tumblr. can i blame tumblr? and
anne.
look, it has to be someone's fault, and so far i can't blame wren.
oh wait, i have a question.
namely, what happened to nicky's and joe's swords? are they still at the safe house outside paris? do they go back to get them? (and does the plane have a tv and champagne? :D ) because those are either their original weapons - in which case they're amazingly well-kept - or very good reproductions, and in any case i can't imagine the guys not wanting to retrieve them.
