so much snow, seriously. it's pretty, tho
i have no idea how much snow we got, altho i think somewhere north of a foot. my car was BURIED when i got home but it was still snowing and windy as hell, so i came inside, changed my clothes, had half a delicious bacon sandwich, watched last night's blacklist, changed clothes again, and went out to shovel. an hour later i'd managed to unbury the car just past the front door, which meant i could get in and turn it on. and then turn it back off and go back inside and change my clothes AGAIN because they were all wet because a. snow everywhere, and b. shoveling is sweaty work. hopefully i'll be able to get the rest of it shoveled tomorrow night before it gets too cold.
7º on saturday. (celsius. :D ) i'm so glad i'm going to florida. i just have to remember to tell everyone at work.
there were at most twenty-five people at work today, and that included the new hires and interns who were there for training. (not all of them made it in.) we got lunch for everyone which was way more sandwiches than we needed - hence the half a bacon sandwich, which was seriously nothing but bacon and a piece of lettuce between bread - there wasn't even a tomato to make it a blt, so it was just a bl - i kept telling people to take some home. i don't know if anyone did. i left at 3:30 and there were only three people left, all of them in tax. because there's always someone in tax.
it was a very quiet day altho i kept having stuff to do. it was quiet outside too - snow is very quiet, plus no one was on the road. the commute in was easy and there was almost no one on the bus, and the commute home wasn't bad either. and thus have i survived the first snowpocalypse of the season. :D even if my entire existence is sore from all the shoveling.
also! the good place is back! in honor, have a cute interview with jameela jamil. it's her first acting gig! i wouldn't have guessed.
and i keep forgetting to wish colls a happy birthday! happy birthday, you fabulous vidder, you. :D
