it's too late to think of a subject heading

today is the 131st anniversary of the invention of the hole punch, and the googledoodle is super cute. what a weird thing to celebrate, tho.

at work we had a little health and wellness fair, with tables manned by folks who did reiki and yoga and meditation and nutrition counseling and, uh, a dentist practice and a medical professional who was there to talk about blood pressure. i got a reiki demonstration which was sooooo relaxing, and then i had my aura read and surprisingly it was a very relaxed aura. i think some of that stuff is just woo - i'm a big fan of modern medicine - but if it works for you, good. and did i mention the reiki was realllly relaxing?

and i needed it because i have a ring i got when i graduated from college, AND THE STONE FELL OUT. AT WORK. SOMEWHERE. it's not a big stone and it's kind of reddish-magenta-ish and there's just no way i'm ever going to find it. I AM NOT BEST PLEASED. also REALLY BUMMED. my finger feels naked now.

there was a very cute small girlchild on the bus this morning wearing leggings with minnie mouse on the knees. SOCUTE.

the nanonovel proceeds apace, altho i always feel like i'm playing catch-up and it's pretty obvious i have no idea where it's going. it's kind of fun, tho - i keep introducing random women and their random reasons for leaving their previous lives and moving to this town that's all women (and four men).

redditor's daughters write a newspaper for the cat to read while he's in the litter box. i guess it's a lot of pawlitics as usual.

:D

the millennium falcon is visible on googlemaps, despite disney's no doubt very dedicated attempts to keep it under wraps until the last jedi comes out. (next month!)

still think it's a lot of woo, star wars, new job second floor, nanowrimo, dammit, little kids are the cutest, historical nifty, cats
