who else is watching this is us? have we ever heard about jack's brother before this? like, were there hints in any of the flashbacks? because it seems kind of like a retcon. sort of.

so on friday i went to primark on my lunch break to look for a pajama top, and found

i did not buy them, but i did find a pajama top. which i brought back on monday to exchange. >.< and i was going to get the penguin socks, because look at them! but they were gone. >.< but instead i found these:

fuzzy grey wolf socks! (and lambs?) they're soooo soft and fuzzy. if there's a primark near you and you're in the market for some very comfy socks, i highly recommend them.

there's going to be a horror movie starring the winchester mystery house. the trailer makes it look like your basic haunted-house story, and the thing about the winchester house isn't that it was so haunted, but that sarah winchester didn't want it to be. so it doesn't look like the ptb really took advantage of the weird-ass actual story behind their movie. which is kind of a pity, because i think there's some fine bugnuts to be found there. but helen mirren is in it! as sarah winchester! and she's always fabulous.

i realllly want to see the house in person, because batshit architecture is one of my favorite kinds, but i don't like haunted-house stories and unless the movie is more than your basic ghost story i might have to take a pass, even tho helen mirren! but it could be someone else's thing. :D

so apparently cats are really freaked out by cucumbers. the best clips are the ones where someone puts a cucumber next to the cat and just waits for the cat to see it and flip its shit. (thank amberdreams and the news about cucumbers being left in that one town in the uk.)

cheetos announces partnership with usa curling, to (i guess) boost curling's profile. because it's a weird canadian sport that no one's ever heard of. :D mmm, cheetos.

this is us, architectural wtf, socks, cheetos, movies, cats, curling, primark
