vikings! agent carter! a random wincon panel idea!
funko pop is making vikings figures! oddly enough they're going to have a seer rather than, say, athelstan or bjorn (and they have a few athelstans to choose from!), and vinyl ragnar's head isn't tattooed, but still, vikings! who loves me and wants to get me a ragnar and a lagertha? :D
because i read that i was thinking about a historical-tv panel for wincon - because i think about this shit waaaaay ahead of time - tv shows set during historical time periods, i mean. but the only non-contemporary tv i watch is vikings, agent carter, and the americans, and i'm not fannish about the americans at all. (altho i like it, otherwise i wouldn't still be watching.) altho i did watch the most recent season of american horror story, which was set in the 50s. i don't know. anyone who's going to wincon, or thinking about going to wincon, does a panel about historical-fiction tv sound remotely interesting? it might be an hour of vikings and peggy carter, if it's me.
speaking of! who watched the agent carter finale? come squee with me! especially about howard being hypnotized into thinking he could find steve in antarctica, and peggy talking him down (they have to let steve go!), and jarvis giving her the last vial of steve's blood because she's the only person who should have it, and her pouring it off the brooklyn bridge. just... break my heart, why don't you. and! and! ZOLA. HOLY SHIT, ZOLA.
i really hope they get another season.
