tonight i left work early so i could see only lovers left alive, which is a weird, weird movie. but i liked it a lot. it looked fabulous, all dark and cluttered and old and frayed and falling apart. the audience laughed at some things that weren't really funny - altho some of them were kind of darkly funny or kind of ironic - and i wanted everyone to just shut up, altho in general i really like responsive audiences. i didn't even have any complaints about tom hiddleston's hair. (it was kind of loki-in-thor:-the-dark-world hair, which i didn't love, but it worked here.)
i'm kind of amused that the last time i was in that theater was to see snowpiercer - also starring tilda swinton and john hurt - which was such a different movie.
the warwick university rowing team is stripping down for a calendar, which will not only be full of really hot naked dudes, but will also raise money for their anti-homophobia charity. it is a moral imperative to have these hot naked dudes hanging on your wall. :D
in case you haven't seen it and, like me, are DYING of curiosity, there is now a
50 shades of grey trailer. it reads as much creepier than i think it's supposed to. it looks like the trailer for a psychological horror film, not a romance.
