that wasn't too bad
i have now finished a first full pass of edits on my bigbang. woot! i only post on tuesday....
holy shit i post on tuesday. O.O
anyway. i hauled my ass out of bed two hours earlier than i'm used to so i could cover for the receptionist at work so she could come in late, so i got to come home two hours early, so i had some time to go to the diesel for a nice bowl of onion soup and a few hours with the parisbang. i ended up covering reception for the whole day, because the actual receptionist never came back. but it wasn't as horrible as i was expecting. i answered the phone and didn't accidentally hang up on anyone, altho i did get a random sales type call from some woman with a strong english-isn't-her-first-language accent who was calling from some financial company trying to get me to sign up for some prize drawing or something as a way of advertising her company. word of mouth, i guess. i told her like four times i wasn't interested - because i could barely understand her - before i hung up on her. i also got a random robocall and a wrong number, and a couple people called with legitimate questions but i had to make a guess as to who to send them to so they could get the answers. i listened to the world cup, sort of, and got a couple things done for the job i was actually hired to do, altho i discovered that the computer at reception is missing an important application and there are a couple things i can't actually do from there. >.< and i refreshed twitter a lot and googled pics of private paris gardens and wrote an excessively long email and probably something else i don't remember. i did not however spend any time on tumblr, so my day was sadly lacking in pictures of sebastian stan's pretty face. or anyone else's pretty face, for that matter.... instagram kept crashing the browser.
so it wasn't completely terrible but i'm not in a hurry to do it again.
speaking of the world cup, two american astronauts and one german astronaut play soccer in space and make a bet over today's game. the game that germany won, so now the americans have to shave their heads. hee. i love the stuff that the iss astronauts make public. they always look like they're enjoying the hell out of everything.
