we had a fire drill at work today. woo. at least i got some exercise trotting down thirteen flights of stairs. there seemed to be a very small number of people hanging out on the sidewalk waiting until we could go back inside, so i think a lot of folks made themselves scarce around the time the drill was supposed to happen. (we knew it was coming.)
tomorrow i get to watch the front desk for five hours or so because the receptionist has to come in late. she usually gets there at eight, which means i have to get there at eight, which means a. i can leave at five, and b. i have to get up a lot earlier than i'm used to. only one of these things even remotely excites me. guess which one.
mathematical equations as actual physical forms - really cool and weirdly architectural. and kind of webby.
