i didn't have to bring home a ton of eggs, either
tonight my sister had a potluck dinner and game night, for which i made deviled eggs (half with creamy dill mustard that i found in my pantry and half with sweet pickle relish because i don't like mustard, and all with probably slightly too little mayo) and for which there was way too much food. one of her friends brought cards against humanity, which we played, and when someone put down the "tentacle porn" card i about fell off the couch laughing. the friend said she and her boyfriend had taken out some of the really offensive cards which just made me think about watching people play it at wincon last year when offensiveness seemed to be the whole point. it was still ridiculously fun.
i love my sister but man, when she's upset about something she will repeat it over and over and over and over. in the space of forty minutes she probably told me three times about the friend who called in sick to the party at the last minute. and it was the exact same story all three times. someday i'm going to have to vent to her the way she vents to me, and i'll probably repeat myself too, and she's damn well going to let me.
