I finally get to start classes tomorrow!!! I can't wait... although I know it's going to be a lot of work... I just hope I can do it.
Colin was here this weekend... it was definitely nice to see him... although I don't know when that will happen again. He helped me unpack most of my stuff... I only have a few more things to go... it's starting to look like someone lives here. We went out to eat like all weekend... so I have 4 doggy bags in my fridge right now. We went to Lisa's BBQ on saturday. It was pretty fun... a lot of my relatives were there... it's always nice to see them. My cousin Jason took me to his apartment to look at some furniture he wanted to get rid of when he moves. Colin also took me grocery shopping.
We went to a place in Indiana... cause they don't have taxes on groceries... makes it a little cheaper. I usually try to get one of those electric carts... I can't make it very far on my crutches.... but the only one they had up there said the battery was dead. So we decided to take a regular wheel chair. Colin pushed me and I pushed the cart.... it was quite a sight. Well about 10 minutes into our shopping... there's an announcement on the intercom. "Will whoever took a wheelchair from the service desk, please return to the service desk." So we were like.. uh oh. Turns out we took someone's actual wheelchair that they left at the door when they took one of the electric ones!!! The lady was really nice about it though and gave me her electric one after we apologized profusely!!!
Sunday we went to Our Lady of Knock... which is my absolute favorite church. I'm so excited that I get to go there all the time now. They have an awesome guitar mass. Well anyways... we decided to take my Grandpa with us to give my Grandma some alone time. (They've been married a LOOOOONG time.) Well... he's in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's... so he's a little off... he also forgot to bring his hearing aid. Bad combination. He kept asking questions in the middle of mass... very loudly!!! He couldn't remember what to say when he went up for Communion... he asked like 6 times... along with a million other things. It was certainly an adventure.
I got Basic from the library the other day... watched it last night. I absolutely love John in this movie!!! You can tell he had fun with this character. However, the director's commentary on this DVD is the worst I've ever seen!!!! I usually like to watch those things... but not this one... which was disappointing. It could have been a good one.
I get to start classes tomorrow!!!!
