One of my coworkers and I went to lunch today. It was just a good day to get out and go to Deep Ellum, so we did. I'm not in the best of shape for train-riding right now. The herky-jerky nature of the train means that I can't stand to give up my seat like I normally would if we have anyone elderly or such get on. It's something I would prefer to be able to do. This was one interesting commute this morning. Apparently some genius ran into a power line this morning stopping the DART rail from running at Mockingbird Station. They dropped us off there and had too few busses to transport us along. There was about a 20 minute wait in the cold (37F according to the radio) until a bus came to get me. The line ( Read more... )
