04. Chapter 5
“So, you’re a high school student?”
“Yup, but it’s summer break, so no school right now.”
“I see.” Junsu nodded amused as he took a zip from his drink. “So you were just wandering about, eh? You youngsters haven’t got any things to do these days.”
“Actually I dropped a friend off somewhere and was on my way home.” Yoochun told, his eyes were kinda beaming at the man next to him. “I’d have been home right now, but instead I’m hanging at a café with an old man.”
“Old?!” Pff, who’s old?! 23 isn’t that old.” Junsu said as if he was offended. He was really amused by this student, he just had to admit he was good company.
Better than his co-workers, when they were drinking and got really drunk they’d be horrible. But was it okay to feed a youngster drunk?
Yoochun grinned. “Well, they always say ‘Age doesn’t matter’, right?”
“You’re right!” Junsu laughed, not really getting the hint the other was giving him. “’You’re as young as you feel!’”
“You really are on fire now, Junsu-shii.”
“Oh cut the shii crap, I’m not your grandpa.”
“Then how should I call you?”
“Junsu’s fine, but if you’re that creative than go ahead and give me a new one.”
“Alright then, Junsu.” Yoochun smiled slyly as he said the other’s name. Junsu stared at the student’s looks, he looked kinda dandy, dashing almost.
He was really curious what this night would bring.
---
Yunho was in a heavy mind struggle on the way back to the gallery.
Mainly because of the talk he had this morning with Shim Changmin.
“Yunho-shii, I just got to say. This is really, really good.”
“Seriously? Thank you, Changmin-shii!”
“I didn’t know you got yourself a model this time. He sure has beautiful features.”
“I really appreciate your admiration for my model.”
“There’s one thing I’d like to request from you, Yunho-shii.”
“And that would be?”
“I want one of your master portraits, they say you’re major is human anatomy, with the emphasis on bare bodies. I want one of this model.”
“… I’ll see what I can do, he’s not really used to modeling yet.”
“That’s a shame, well, just let me know when you have one ready. I know a lot of people who’d pay a fair amount of money for it.”
That’s when Shim Changmin left the gallery, leaving Yunho in distress.
What did he have to say to Jaejoong? Was that guy even ready for that?
As they were walking back to the gallery he was looking at Jaejoong secretly, curious about what was underneath his clothes.
Not that he couldn’t guess. He was quite good at biology.
But. Just the thought of a slender, smooth body crept up in his mind and made him want to strip the student down right away.
That would be violation.
And why was he even thinking that way?!
Before he knew it they were already at the door of the gallery. While walking over to his office, followed by Jaejoong, he was thinking of a subtle way to get to the subject:
“Hey Jaejoong, why don’t you take your clothes of right away and let uncle Yunho make a pretty portrait of your fine junk.”
The least thing he wanted was to sound perverted!
“Jaejoong, we’re the last survivors on this planet, and aliens want a nude portrait of you, so quickly! Take them all off!”
Jaejoong was too grown up to believe in that kind of crap.
“If you get of your clothes now, I’ll probably take you or something, but that’s beside the point, I’ll pay you for it.”
That wouldn’t help, he’d be broke if he did. He heaved a big breath and came to the conclusion there was no sane way he could ask Jaejoong to strip. And the worst thing was that Jaejoong was staring dumbfounded, with his big eyes piercing at him, unknowing what was going on in the elder man’s head.
Thank god he didn’t know, it would have scared the crap out of him for sure.
“Yunho-shii, what do you want today?”
Could that sound even more wrong than it already did? He had to think straight, no weird thoughts. He just had to blank them out, not thinking about them and just answer as normal as possible. “…. Strip down please.”
“.. Wait.. WHAT?!”’
He didn’t expect Jaejoong’s eyes to grow even bigger than they were. Actually it was like they were popping out of his sockets.
“Oh no… This is bad… He’s going to cry.. Great Yunho, you did it again. Think before you open your stupid mouth!”
“Alright.”
“Eh?”
Jaejoong awkwardly started to unbutton his shirt, inch for inch creamy white skin got revealed, until the shirt landed in the corner of the room. “… C-Completely?”
He was already on the way… So… “If.. If it’s okay..”
“S-Sure..” Yunho kept looking as his fingers were working on his belt and jeans, a loud clang was heard as the iron hit the ground. He had been so right about Jaejoong, only it was 10 times better than he imagined. Slender, smooth… Beautiful.
“Wait Jaejoong.”
Jaejoong lifted his head shyly, his fingers were already at the elastic band of his briefs. “.. Huh?”
“Is it really okay?”
“I-It’s your work right… And if I don’t do this I won’t be able to clear my debt for the broken vase.”
Was he really going to be like this? Was he really going to be that kind of guy.
He sighed and walked to the corner, to pick up Jaejoong’s shirt and give it back to him. “Here, put it back on.”
He had seen something in Jaejoong’s eyes.
Confusion with an edge of fear.
And as an artist, Yunho could clearly see that emotion, he could paint an emotion like that, if it wasn’t Jaejoong who was standing in front of him. The student stared confused at him and did what he told. As the fabric brushed his skin he shivered.
“I don’t understand, isn’t it good..”
“The last thing I want you to feel is uncomfortable Jaejoong.” Yunho told as he buttoned up the guy’s shirt, unknowingly how close they actually stood. “From now on I want you to tell me when you don’t want to, or when you aren’t ready for it.”
“Yunho..”
“Don’t even persuade me.” It was all blurry in Jaejoong’s mind, just a moment before Yunho told him to strip down and the next moment he was getting dressed by said guy.
The two were unaware of the confusion they brought to each other by the things they did and said. They didn’t know it but, slowly that confusion would bring them together.
That afternoon Yunho made a simple portrait of Jaejoong, without exchanging a single word with the latter. Afterwards they ordered some Chinese and Jaejoong helped Yunho stack up some older portraits.
He was surprised by the numerous paintings the man made, making him even more curious about the reason behind them all was. As he took the next painting he quickly looked away, his cheeks reddening. The man and woman on the painting were in such a position Jaejoong just got so embarrassed.
“Did Yunho.. see people like that? For real?”
He secretly gazed at Yunho, who was sorting out his pencils, full of admiration. Although he didn’t want to look at that painting again he was overwhelmed by the details that could be seen on the canvas.
It was amazing.
After cleaning up it was already becoming late, well, not really late but Mrs. Kim kind of late. She even called her son on the phone, unknowingly how ashamed Jaejoong was.
“KIM JAEJOONG, WHY AREN’T YOU HOME YET?!”
“Mom.. please keep it down.. I’m helping cleaning up the place.”
“What mess?! Don’t tell me you!”
“Mom! Geesh, why do you even think that?” She was probably just jealous he was spending time with her ideal man.
“Oh nothing… You just worry the worst out of your poor, but still beautiful, gorgeous and smart mother, doesn’t even call said beautiful, gorgeous and smart mother and make me very, very sad!”
Jaejoong sighed. “You really are the worst mom, look, I’ll just help him lock up the place and come back sa-“ Before he could finish his sentence Yunho got the phone out of his hand.
“Hello, this is Jung Yunho speaking. I’m terribly sorry for keeping your son so busy at this time of night.”
Jaejoong could clearly hear his mother’s stuttering through the phone as Yunho spoke to her.
“Don’t worry about him, he’s been doing a very good job up till now…… No he’s not a burden at all.. He’ll come home safely, I promise.”
Yunho was talking so smoothly to her, in a soothing, calming kind of way. It even made Jaejoong feel more relaxed.
“Haha, thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment… If that’s okay with you, Ahjumma.” Yunho nodded. “Oh no, it would be an honor on my side. That’s settled than, thank you Ahjumma, I’ll give the phone back to your son now, see you on Friday then.”
Jaejoong beamed curious expression at Yunho, but he just pushed the phone back in his hand and started to close the curtains. “Mom..” He said as he lowered his voice so Yunho wouldn’t hear. “What did you just do?”
“JAEJOONGIEEEEEE , UMMA IS SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!~ MOMMY HAD THE GUTS TO ASK JUNG YUNHO-SHII OVER TO DINNER, ISN’T THAT WONDERFULL, KYAAAH! WAIT TILL I TELL THE GIRLS ABOUT THIS!~”
The student was dumbstruck. Jung Yunho… The man who was giving him weird vibes every time he was near… and his mother, the number 1 obsessed fangirl of Jung Yunho, at one table in the same house?!
This would be a total nightmare.
---
The night was slowly falling as they enjoyed talking about various subjects, school life, Junsu’s management business, sports, just the usual stuff. But even thought it looked like a usual conversation Junsu was feeling that this wasn’t just a regular person. They laughed, joked and just had a good time together, until it was just getting a little late and both had to separate ways to their homes.
“Well, thanks again, Yoochun-ah.” Junsu said as he got his coat on. “And also for the company, we should go out for a drink some other time too.”
Yoochun agreed with him. “I just hope your car will be fixed soon, it was a nice one.”
“You know, finish college, work hard and get in top of your business and you will get a car like that.”
“Hmm, that sounds quite tempting.”
“Tempting eh?”
The two man stood opposite each other, the streetlight above them was flickering. Junsu awkwardly shuffled his feet as he felt Yoochun’s eyes beaming at him again.
“That kid really doesn’t stop staring, does he?” “Anyway, I should get a taxi or something and get back home.”
“I’ll wait with you.”
“Seriously?” Yoochun shrugged his shoulders. “My house’s only 5 minutes walking from here and my parents don’t really mind at what time I come back.”
“.. Alright then, a few more minutes wouldn’t hurt anyway.” The student called a cab and together they waited, on the corner of the street. Minutes passed and still no taxi, It was getting on Junsu’s nerves as the minutes kept running past him. “Damn it, what’s taking that guy so long?!”
“Well, it’s quite normal the taxi takes long, there’re a lot of students who go out on nights like this and call cabs too.” Yoochun told him.
Junsu sighed. “Great, I’m always this lucky.” He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and stared at the church tower. 2 am already, he groaned. “Well, that means not much sleep for me tonight..”
“Why don’t you just call work and tell you’re sick.”
“Haha, ha.. Yoochun you’re so naïve.”Junsu patted the much bigger Yoochun on his head and ruffled through his hair. “ Of course I can’t call them I’m sick, this isn’t high school , this is business.”
“I see no difference, the only thing is you get paid for being there, and I have to pay.”
“Hmm… I guess you’re right about that.” Silence fell upon them again, it was different from back at the café were they drank.
Then there was alcohol.
Now there was just oxygen and the smell of car gasses. Junsu was getting more and more tired as the time passed and couldn’t keep his eyes open anymore, he even almost fell down, if Yoochun wouldn’t have caught him it would have become quite a bruise. “Ah.. Thanks Yoochun…”
“Maybe we should sit down for a moment.” Yoochun said as he helped Junsu to a bench a few meters away. He sat down first, then got Junsu next to him and brought his head on his lap. Junsu thought it was kind of strange sitting like that. “Err… Yoochun..”
“What is it?” “Are you sure this is okay?”
“Hmm.. It’s fine, although your head is kinda heavy.”
“Ya! That only tells I have a big pair of brains right there.”
“Oh really?”
“Of course! What else would it mean?!” But Yoochun didn’t continue arguing, instead he had this grin on his face, Junsu found it a little weird. Same for the fact he was lying on a student, kind off. He was 23, Yoochun was 18… Now he understood why Yunho always told him he should act more of a man.
But it felt good sitting like that. “
Hey Junsu.”
“Hmm..” Junsu murmured quietly, he was slowly drifting off to sleep.
Yoochun chuckled. “Just checking if you were still awake.”
“What would you do if I wasn’t?”
“Hmm, probably nothing, just waiting for the stupid taxi to arrive.” Junsu turned his head and looked up at the student. “So you want me to leave?”
“It’s not that.”
“Eh? Then what?” That guy was being really vague, and it annoyed the other. “That Yoochun really, he’s really this weird.”
“But then again.. He looks quite stunning with the streetlight shining on his face… It’s almost..”
“Are you alright, Junsu?”
“.. Uh..” Junsu didn’t notice he totally he was spacing out just a second ago, and while doing that he was suddenly face to face with Yoochun. “Oh.. Sorry.” But that apology wasn’t needed, not when Yoochun moved forward and locked his lips with Junsu’s.
The latter didn’t know what was going on in his head, but he knew one thing for sure.
He didn’t want that cab to arrive any time soon.
---
“Jaejoong, why so silent?”
Jaejoong lifted his head up, looking at Yunho’s worried expression. “Oh.. Nothing.”
Actually there was something that was bugging him right now. The whole fact his mother asked Yunho over for dinner the day after tomorrow.
It was just weird. His mother was this huge, die-hard fangirl of him and he was just accepting her invite politely even though she’d probably drool on the food while knowing Yunho would be sitting in the living room. She’d also proudly show her collection of his paintings.
He knew his mother was in a divorce, his father was never really there for him. He was away most of the time and it was the limit for his mother up to a certain point. But the divorce had been open for 2 years now and she was already acting as a single woman.
What if she would hit on Yunho?
That thought made him aggravated.
Just because, beauty didn’t just got to Jaejoong, he had to thank his mother for that. She had won a lot of teen beauty pageants when she was younger. And unfortunately she hadn’t changed much.
Luckily Yunho didn’t ask more than that. And Jaejoong was extremely grateful he was willing to walk him home.
As they got to the door Yunho got a hold of his arm. “Jaejoong, there’s something I want to tell you..”
“.. Okay.”
“I..”
Jaejoong felt his hands on his cheeks, slowly bringing his head closer to his.
Was it going to happen? Was Jung Yunho, a man, a famous man, going to kiss him? He was half right, Yunho must have had an intention to... But stopped only millimeters before he’d touch the younger’s lips. He cleared his throat. “Thank you for helping me clean my office today.”
“Oh.. Oh, no problem..”
“Then.. I’ll see you on Friday.” Yunho said as he turned around.
Jaejoong just blankly nodded. “Friday… Y-Yeah..”
“Good night Jaejoong.”

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! THE MOM IS BACK X'D, she's such a dork, isn't she LOL? The thing I love about this fic, I'm sort of picturing myself as a spazzing ahjumma. I mean, will fangirlism die of you're married and have kids? I hope it won't if it's my time geheh X'D. I'd like to go on spazzing all my life!
So, anti-climax on the naked part and a "nearly-but-yet-not" kiss, but I want to spare it for a little, I want more drama, more tension (I sound like a weird theater producer right now 0___o), as for YooSu, somehow in every YunJae fic I write it's always YooSu who works faster... It seems more natural to me, I dunno why! *please help me!* If it's disappointing, I'm terribly, TERRIBLY sorry about it.
And for some reasons.. I'm feeling that people'd rather have had one of Yunho's weird sentences said instead... Hur? What do you think XD Are aliens willing enough to pay for a portrait of Jaejoong for survival hmm?
Okay I'm rambling, that's the sign I gotta stop X'D
