So. I cannot feel a difference between 1 (one!) degree and -5.2 degrees. I can, however, feel a difference between -5.2 and negative fifteen. That was Really. Really. Cold. I wasn't out in it long, though, so it wasn't a miserable thing.

I am still enchanted and charmed. Winter is making me happy.

The temperature has doubled since I've been in the office. It's 12 degrees now. I talked to my mom last night and she asked me about the temperature yesterday. I told her the highest I'd noticed was 18 degrees. "Oh," she said. "It was 80 degrees here." Wow. It snowed! I got my snow! Yes, it was only a little bit, but oh, it was beautiful! It still is beautiful. The world is prettier today than it was yesterday. I don't even care about the cold today.
