Cooking has not been good this week. After two yucky recipes, I'm relying on freezer standbys. The recipes turned out (I didn't mess them up or burn anything), but they just didn't taste GOOD. I adjusted the a/c so my indoor temp is 73 (instead of 80), which has really seemed to help the breathing. As I was sitting propped up in bed waiting to fall asleep last night I decided that if I had not improved after today, I would need to find a doctor.  Cheers that I am greatly improved! The past 24 hours (and some) have been exciting!  To begin with, I picked up a friend and went to a Fibre Festival.  I was very good and only bought one thing- a Beginning Spinning kit (the yarn kind- I already know the bike kind).  The kit came with a booklet, a spindle and alpaca roving.  Alpaca is very soft- but, since this is alpaca from a non- ( Read more... )

Knitting disaster struck again. I broke another double pointed needle on the dratted mittens. I went over to the knitting store in Westfield and picked up a set of Addi circulars.  Let me tell you, I have been missing out.  These needles- I want them in all sizes.
