(no subject)
Cooking has not been good this week. After two yucky recipes, I'm relying on freezer standbys. The recipes turned out (I didn't mess them up or burn anything), but they just didn't taste GOOD. We went to Chipotle's after the recipe involving BBQ Tempeh. Apparently we are not Tempeh-type people. And this after I went to three different grocery stores searching for the stuff.
I have made significant progress on my sweater for Ravelympics'08. The back and left front are finished, the right front is halfway there.
Sunday is the first class of Quilting for Beginners. These are my fabrics. I tried to choose bright colors. Too many quilts scream "ranch house" and "country primitive" at me. (Primitive being the type of decoration, not meaning behind the times)
I'm hoping to hear about several job applications within the next few days.
