I gave in and got a Tumblr in addition to my Livejournal. I decided that I would use Livejournal for actual writing and delegate my media posts to Tumblr.  I generally feel people probably come onto LJ to read actual posts about actual things and that posts where I where I put just pictures are not wanted here.  I expected to be given the all clear from my spinal surgeon today - I was not expecting to have to go back in for more surgery. Staring at the mangled titanium scaffolding on my x-ray i didn't know what to say and what eventually came out was an "ah". Last night was a bit weird. I suffer from night terrors and luckily up to this point I've not had too much trouble outside of hospital (ahh morphine). I have this thing where I get irrationally frightened and then run towards the door - no idea why. I have even jumped off the end of the bed as if escaping from a boat.
