life is good.
i'm off work today! yay! Im gonna get a little bit more of my christmas shopping done today. I'm almost finished! And its only December 7th! I can't wait til christmas. I'm really enjoying this holiday season. Sounds goofy..but..its kinda cool actually feeling the holiday spirit or whatever.. haha.. i'm a dork, i know.
I went to a ROTC shindig with Jonathan and Jeremy last night. They have a lot of friends in the ROTC program and they were just having a little get together at someones house. It was pretty fun. I mean.. can it be so bad with a kiddy pool full of jello, a hot tub, and Zoolander? And to think that everyone was sober too.. wow. It was interesting.
Jonathan bought a HUGE christmas tree for his mom. She's always wanted a really really really big tree because they have vaulted ceilings.. so..him and Jeremy found a big ole tree for her. There's a random story for ya.
Today is my lil' cousins first birthday party. For his christmas present i got him a little outfit i ordered from the dr. pepper museum. Its red and says "i'm a little pepper." Its soo precious. Its fun buying baby stuff...for other peoples kids that is.
Oh yeah.. on a sadder note.. my friend/was to be roommate, Eric, from Atlanta might not be coming back to memphis! URGH. BLEH. There's still a chance.. but... he may not be. I think i'm just destined to stay at home until i get married. Oh well. I'll manage. I stay at Jonathans a bit during the week. Not that Nesbit, Mississippi is any closer than Oakland is to Memphis.. but it seems like its not a far drive. Its less driving time to get into town.. but its a lot more miles.. which...isn't really good for my car .. but.. oh well.
Jonathan got me into watching Survivor. Its a family event on Thursday nights at his house. They record every episode. hah.. So..sure enough..i'm into it now too. Its great fun. Still upset about Rupert getting voted off. And i dislike Jon.. but he sure does know how to play the game with all the mind games and lies he has going on. I'll give him credit for that. Actually..reminds me of Bagel a lot! Exactly how Bagel would act if he was on the show. In the end though..for whoever watches the show... I think if Jon does stay as the last two..he will lose when it comes to the jury voting.. just because everyone hates him. I mean..he lied about his grandmother dying to everyone! And he "swears on her grave" and stuff when he's making promises to people. Cruel...but smart..but soooo evil. But its cool that the two that got kicked out and then put back in the game are still in the last 5. Anyways... yah.. its fun.
okay.. thats about it.
deanna..Thursday I get off work at 12:30. So we can have our little adventures that day. woo!
time to go shoppin.
