work/kid from utah/jonathan...and im sure more.
So..i've been working all the freakin' time. My last day off was Monday, and I dont have another day off until December 27th. Whew. Its rough too. Being right in front of Wolfchase. Just driving alone in that area is insane. But ..its going alright.
Nath isn't at our store very much anymore. They are slowly transferring him to the Ridgeway store so he can get more training from Nick, the manager that I trained as a barista, and also their new assistant manager, Ginny. So..he's working about 20 hours in our store and the rest over there... Which ... is cool with me. I dont really care either way. He and I don't talk outside of work.. so.. its not like if he's completley gone he will start calling me and we will start hanging out. I actually don't even want that. I think its pretty much gonna be over... our "friendship" or .. whatever. I'm not even sure what to call it. Anyways.. its a good thing i guess.
His mom told me that she has something for my birthday when she gets back in town after Christmas. sweet! She's awesome. I can't see why Nath is such a jerk to his family. Thats horrible. She did call him stubborn though..which was pretty funny. I told her that his grandmother sent his Christmas card to my house..and she was like "did he even care to hear from her" and i was like "of course not.." ..and so she called him stubborn. She told me to just start throwing away his mail since he won't change the address after i've asked him to soo much. She's fun. Id like to get her a christmas present. She's always telling me "i love you" ..."i miss you" ..."come see me sometime". I guess she's not too fond of Rachel..and Nath doesn't care about her. Oh well.
I went with Deanna to the courts downtown to show proof of her tags. It was soo much fun! It was my first time being at the courts and it was a blast. I met deanna and her new awesome place and we headed down there. We had to walk through a metal detector and so I gave my purse to the man and walked through, but it went off. The man was like "did you empty your pockets??" Nopah.. i forgot. So ..i took out my keys and walked through again. It went off, AGAIN. The man asked me again.. and I forgot I had a flashlight in my jacket! So i took that out and walked through again.. and it went off..AGAIN. I forgot I had change in my pocket!! hah. It was great fun. The man was just laughin.. he thought it was funny. Good times..
The kid from Utah finally made it to our house. He's pretty cool. He and my sister fell asleep on the couch holding hands the first night he was here. Aww! and at the movie the other day they were holding hands, and she was playing with his hair and stuff. Its cute. For christmas i'm making him some 80s cds (he LOVES 80s music) and I went in with my sister and got him a Playstation game.
Jonathan and I saw the midnight showing of Lord of the Rings. I woke up at 10:00 pm and got ready for the showing. We got out about 3:30 am so we went to eat some cheesy eggs at Waffle House and then I opened in the morning at 5am. I was pretty tired, but it was worth it. I liked this one a lot! It comes pretty close to beating the first one. The second one is my least favorite of the three though. But its still awesome.
I got a raise at work! woo! the highest I could get. Plus my district manager gave me a $25 gift card to Macaroni Grill and $10 to blockbuster. And some customers at work gave me a $5 gift card to the Olive Garden and another $10 to blockbuster and $10 off skydiving! yup.. thats right.. skydiving. Except i dont think i'll be doing that anytime soon.. but..ill keep the certificate just incase..
Emily's in town! yay! Except i've been opening every day so I haven't even seen her yet! Bleh. We will be going out tomorrow though..since I don't have to work early on Sunday. And I think Lara comes in town on Tuesday. YAY! I like it when my friends are home. We've gotta do some bridesmaids dress shopping!
Alright. I've gotta finish Christmas Cards for customers at work, wrap 23 more presents, wash clothes, hem new work pants, clean room, feed dog and cat, and get lots of sleep because tomorrow i open with my district manager, my assistant manager, and the manager from the poplar/prescott store. great fun.
