"How to Train Your Dragon" was on Saturday really, really good! I went with Mom and
sxechiru and we had a great time. The story was good and the animation was awesome. The hair, oh, my gosh the HAIR! And their particle systems and physics engines. Whoa! Most excellent. (And you can bet your ass I caught every single line David Tennant had!) I love that Stoick the Vast had Gerard Butler's teeth. Very clever, character design crew.
I've come to love Saturdays and the kind British Internet pirates. I can get up on Saturday morning and watch Friday's Ashes to Ashes and by the evening I can watch the latest Doctor Who. I'm not super keen on Internet piracy as a rule, but in cases like this, I gotta have my BBC!
Ashes to Ashes just gets weirder and weirder... like Lost, except with less people and no bunnies. I really, really hope Gene doesn't turn out to be a bad guy. I luv the Gene Genie! Also, I've had "Uptown Girl" stuck in my head all day... Philip Glenister 'n the gang's lip sync and dancing fail made me smile. :)
Matt Smith still retains his stamp of approval. I love all the little nods to previous episodes.
I am going to subscribe to Doctor Who Magazine. That's how addicted I am. I'm prepared to shout it from the rooftops: "I FUCKING LOVE DOCTOR WHO!!!" EDIT: Oh, crap! To subscribe to 17 issues a year in the US is $150! No way, man.
I finished up my drawing 2 project not too long ago. A three hour still life. Not, my best, but it's okay.
Icky Flash and Photoshop tomorrow. Señora Lupus should be a barrel of laughs.
