Sympathizing with Douglas Adams

Apr 09, 2010 17:02

I now have some idea what it must have been like to be Douglas Adams.  No, I do not mean what it is like to be an immensely talented British man, but how it feels to not be able to breathe through your nose.  My nose is so very clogged today that I cannot breathe through it.  It was terrible being out in public.  I feel like a creepy mouth breather.  Tis quite bothersome.

This week has been pretty uneventful.  I did discover that I am one science class away from a transferable associate's degree in arts.  Who knew AP classes would be so handy?  So, I can get that and, with about eight more specific classes, I can get my degree in integrated multimedia.  Cool.

Photoshop and Flash classes are boring as hell.  I actually did learn some stuff this week, but on Monday we spent a half hour (in each class) looking at the credits of Sherlock Holmes because it was rotoscoped.  Alright, lady, we get it.

Yoga make my muscles scream.  I am so out of shape.

Dancing is okay.  My lack of rhythm makes it difficult.  That and all the boys in class joined with their girlfriends so I get picked in the last group.  [sarcasm]And that makes me feel wonderful about myself.[/sarcasm]

Gonna go see How to train Your Dragon tomorrow.  I'm pretty psyched about that.  I also might subscribe to Doctor Who Magazine.  Doctor Who is my crack and I'm jonesing for a fix.
