I HATE my Flash and Photoshop teacher! She goes off on these stupid tangents that have NOTHING to do with what we're doing. Today she ranted about Vietnam and the draft and JFK and I was pissed. Shut the hell up! My dad was an engineer in Vietnam and I'm proud of him. Oh, and the young people (people of MY age group) are indifferent to what's happening around them because we haven't had a tragedy like JFK's assassination? [sarcasm] Yep, and 9/11 was just a barrel of laughs .[/sarcasm] It takes a lot of restraint to not say, "Pardon me, but this is PHOTOSHOP class. Could we get back to fucking PHOTOSHOP?" Grr.
I actually did get some work done today. I think my "text project" will turn out well. I just have a few more things to tweak.
We had drawing class outside yesterday because the room was 80 degrees. I'm all freckle-y like the Irish near-ginger I am. ^.^
House was really good on Monday. One of the best this season. Great job directing, Mr. Laurie. Looking forward to next week.
Lost: WTF?
I got a letter from the Department of State today. Apparently my identification for my passport application didn't work for them, so I had to fill out some more paperwork and sent copies of five more pieces of identification. And why didn't my temporary paper driver's permit along with my expired plastic one work? I'll probably never know.
I'm cranky. Maybe I'll watch some Life on Mars.
You know, (this is going to sound really stupid) I feel like I'm cheating on David Tennant. I feel bad for liking Eleven so much. I keep saying, "Ten will always be my Doctor," but that just makes it seem like I'm cheating more. Matt Smith is too awesome for his own good. Either way, Ten will always have a special place in my heart... and on my bedroom wall.
