My train home was initially supposed to leave at 8.44 pm. The 148 going from New Haven to Hartford on its way to Springfield. The train did not arrive until an hour later and even then it was a different one than indicated on my ticket. Two days ago, I had to bring a dress shirt to the cleaners because tears had mysteriously appeared on the sleeves. Small horizontal slices in identical places on each arm. When I asked the cleaner what could have possibly caused it, he replied that I perhaps work too much and that I should maybe not lean my elbows on my desk so much.

Everyday takes reminding myself that I have permission to be happy over what I've got. All over again.

Not in a long time have I had to so forcefully and mercilessly interrogate my own motives for doing something as I have this past week. Doing this thing that I'm on the precipice of doing, that I will have officially started doing the night of June 5th, has forced me to realize that serious endeavors are the result of more than mere kink.
