so the new dwo icons are very groovy. unfortunately, the latest code push appears to have borked the transferred-from-lj layouts so that the username no longer appears on single user's entries or feed entries, and the community name no longer appears on community entries. which caused no little confusion this morning while i wondered just when i' ( Read more... )

for anyone using custom ported lj styles at dreamwidth, sarken has written awesome instructions for how to get rid of the 'unknown view' link in the header. go forth and tell her how awesome she is!

and now, what i've just spent an hour and a half wrestling with in my head: ( x-files personality typing blather. )

some things that are awesome about dreamwidth:

1. the ability to upload multiple userpics at a time
   
2. the 'description' on icons for screen readers
