Since I've been pimping elsewhere, if you've ever wanted to understand Colin a lot more, head over here. :D
Phew. Spent a couple of days penciling pages and doing a bit of design work. I've finally reached Act1page10 to redraw, and it focuses on Colin's gun. I was getting frustrated trying to draw the design work in the panel, so I made a design sheet. Good thing too, because the first few designs I showed heykidzcomix were turned down. XD We couldn't find "manly" engravings for that time period, so I went with a loud design. When I ink it, I will try to make it look engraved.
I've always put off making design sheets like this because honestly--I'm too lazy. （；ｖ；） I just want to jump into the comic. Every time I've made character designs, they look like butt until I get to draw them in the comic. It's just more comfortable for me, strangely enough. It makes me worried I'm not creative at all if I can't draw solo pieces or even basic headshots with any interest though. When I have no access to my computer for almost a week (*cry*) I'll practice in my notepad.
I also worked on our future thank-you-for-donation-gift. I keep wanting to adding pages to this damn thing, maybe it should be a minicomic instead, lol. ;-; But nah, I'm pretty excited because we're planning full color. If you want to peep, click here. While drawing this though, I was amazed by the emotional power of actually seeing eyes. What Colin is feeling really can be ambiguous with those glasses. I've tried to make Colin's expressions and feelings come through with his glasses on, and in this bonus work, I kept thinking I was drawing him wrong. (lol)
I'll be really busy for the next week or two or three--gotta somehow keep up on the 2 1/2-page schedule and deal with movers, no internet, (though the neighbors might let us share theirs!) and cleaning the house tip-top.
