Today I had a proud doggie mommy moment when Doug actually lifted his leg to pee. He hasn't gotten the hang of it totally, but it's much better than doing the girlie squat he's been doing all along.

Last night, Tarin, the foster mom, brought over Taber, the dachsund/chihuahua cross we're going to adopt. He and Whiskey got along great. I don't know how long they were here -- maybe 30-45 minutes and the dogs played almost the entire time. As crazy as the stuff I wrote about in my last post makes me, nothing makes me happier or more peaceful then seeing Whiskey rest her head on Tim while he pets her. That dog loves him, I tell you. It's awesome.
