In a "Jump-Start Your Career" seminar I took, I was told to close my eyes and visualize, in visceral detail, the future: 2008. What was I doing? What kind of art was on my walls? Where was I sitting? What sorts of things were on my dayplanner for the upcoming weeks, months, and so on.

Then I had to draw it.
