[right after this, so earlier today]

Renée is - or was - in the hospital. She's doing better now, enough that she was moved from there to a short-term care facility for her recovery. You people talk about everything under the sun except when a little girl is hospitalized, for God's sake. As I haven't seen one word about it here, I'm going to take ( Read more... )

Renée was in an accident on Sunday and hospitalized, she had to have surgery. I don't know all the details right now, it was a phone chain thing for me to find out as it was.

I don't know, I just know it was some kind of accident that she needed surgery for. I do know she is doing fine now.

Yes, she's doing really well from what I know, she just hasn't written herself because she's not able to yet. The person who told me didn't have much information himself, I'm sorry I can't tell you more. I also wish I knew more of her friends at this point, but once I talk to her, I can update you, provided you haven't called and gotten the information by then?

[after Whit's had a chance to talk to Renee and such]

Okay, I've seen and talked to Renée. She's going to be just fine. She was in a condemned building on Sunday and hit her head and broke her leg. She had to have surgery for the subdural hematoma from the blow, but she came through it wonderfully. She's in a rehab center for the rehabilitation and so people can look after her for a bit. She still can't use her right hand well enough to write, and she says her handwriting from her left hand would be to messy, but apparently that should resolve itself soon.

She really is doing really well - can I tell her you'll come visit?
