Classes are done, and I survived, with a D+ in each, because while I turned everything in, I missed three days, and also I chose to do more ambitious projects that were just slightly outside of my skill level, so the results weren't perfect. What torques me off is that people who chose very safe, simple, easy projects (an origami diorama with three cranes, two owls, and a flat-piece-of-paper pond, anyone?) got B+'s, because they were able to be more technically perfect in the end result.
So while classes are done, and I am sleeping off the HELL WEEK I pulled to be able to get everything done (18-20 hour days in the art building, crashing for two and three hours at a time, starting Tuesday night, and by Tuesday, I mean July 15th Tuesday), the next step is to go through the song and dance of the university grade appeal process, because WTF.
Also my parents are getting a lawyer. At times I feel tired and at other times the lawyer thing makes me giggle in malicious anticipation.
I think what kind of burns in that extra special way is that while the teacher is kind of cranky and the Queen Bee of Anal technical perfection, she's not a bitch, and she's a fascinating person with some interesting knowledge to share.
....she just sucks as a teacher. WTF.
