OMG OMG, Saturday's class was freakin' AWESOME. See, I spent the last 3-4 weeks trying to teach these guys how to make convincing arguments, use logic and creative thinking to debate certain topics. It's been like pulling TEETH trying to get them to participate because they're so damn hesitant.

Last week I gave my students a quiz. I handed it back and some of them were dismayed at the scores they got. it was out of 42, and most of them got between 24 and 35. I told them not worry about the tests because the scores weren't for them - they were for me.

Barking like a seal and with no voice to speak of, I still managed to fall into hysterics once again with my grade sevens.

We're developing a new course for pre-K and they needed a book written and illustrated by Friday afternoon. I spent the week staying up until midnight drawing, inking, scanning and coloring 6 pages for the workbook. Success! So the kids made their Easter eggs and had a good time dying everything in the damn room various colors. >.<;;   Egg dye is naturally added to the same category as glitter glue, permanent markers and paint sets. ^^ Ah well. It all worked out in the end.

Getting started - punching the holes out of the kits so we have a place for the eggs.
