I've had a very productive day so far. I deposited my check in the Wamu ATM. Then I bought and installed a new headlight on my car, which needs an oil change. Then I showered and got my hair cut. Then I was up early enough to get breakfast at Lucy's, a 24 hour Mexican drive-through. I also got some pineapple tamales because they're awesome. Then I went to Goodwill, bought a Max Headroom LP, a 45 of the most ethnocentric holiday song ever, "Do They know It's Christmas?" , an Uncle Tupelo CD, a Muppet Babies VHS tape, and a pair of jeans that is missing a fucking button. I love getting up early on the weekends. Too bad I don't feel the same about the weekdays, when I actually need to be up early.
Also, I went to the crazy punk rock record store, Headline Records. I bought an OOP LP and then two 15 year old assholes asked me if I worked there. Under normal circumstances, that would have been the greatest compliment ever, but it turns out they were looking for Marilyn Manson T-shirts. Ah, to be 15 again...
