The Gallery has a whole new feel. I was wondering what it would look like. There is photography, glass artwork, pottery, as well as drawings and paintings. November first the Gallery switches over to all new artwork save for three pieces. The Support our Troops stained glass piece, my rose and my pig will stay = the rest will be all new. Today finds me holding a cup of hot cocoa, pondering ideas for the miniatures show. The show will be on November 22nd, and hopefully well attended. The little gallery we have can hold quite a few people - especially those coming and going from the star lighting event. The artwork for the National Arts show is hung and already been judged. We'll find out the results on October 24th at the Reception. What a wonderful start!! After an insane week with my pencils and paper my Rooster is finally done. I worked as fast as I had time and ability, with numerous creative "coffee" breaks which included time tickling my sons, smelling the aroma of homemade cooking (my own) and the occasional cookie and milk break - which I savored.
