Backwards Hangers

organize eventually came through will a positively BRILLIANT idea about clean sweeping. Someone there suggested that as I've just moved, I put all my clothes hangers on the rack backwards - that is to say, with the hook facing me. As I wear each article, I replace the hanger the right way. That will give me a visual cue as to which articles aren't getting used regularly (or at all). Brilliant, I say! I've just enough of a touch of OCD that the backwards hangers will definitely attract my attention.

Unfortunately, most other ideas from this organization community were along the lines of, "If you can't remember last time you used something, it's been too long and you should throw it out!" Thanks. That'd give me an operational stock of about three days for my clothing, 24 hours for my CDs....

In other news, "White Lines" now always reminds me of "Shaun of the Dead." There's a scene with this song that just cracks me up!
