We went away for a couple of days, and when we returned there was no sign of the real cat, but the spirit cat put in an appearance and sat on my feet briefly. So it's still around, but I suspect that I might only notice it when I know for sure that the real cat is not also nearby. The real cat came by after a day or so. I forget what triggered it, but I was relaxed and letting things trickle through my mind. And I had a brief impression of W's teacher. Now, impressions aren't perfectly reliable, but I noticed this one. I can't be a teacher to W spiritually/magically, for a whole bunch of reasons some of which I don't even know. I showed W the draft of the dress I was making. I'd mis-sized the pattern for my pregnancy - I'm not used to working around so many curves. So I'd somehow ended up with a size 10 waist and a size 16 bosom, when it really needed to be the other way around. I came back very late Monday night / Tuesday morning from a week working away. I'm getting quite a few of those at the moment - another one next week. My turn to be away on a work trip. And at the end of it, W came to meet me. He didn't have to, except that I'd forgot my spare keys and wouldn't be able to drive home without them.
